A.J. Green caught 10-of-12 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati's Week 4 win over the Dolphins.

Sep 29 - 11:28 PM

Andy Dalton completed 22-of-31 passes for 296 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 22-7, Week 4 win over the Dolphins.

Going up against a secondary starting Xavien Howard and "Tony Lippett," Dalton fed A.J. Green and watched him eat. Dalton directed 12 of his 31 passes Green's way, and Green turned them into 10/173/1. Dalton and Green's game of pitch and catch was more than enough for the Bengals on a night where the Dolphins looked utterly hopeless on offense. Dalton has only three scores through four starts, but 1,234 yards. Positive regression is coming. He has a tasty Week 5 matchup in the Cowboys.

Ryan Tannehill completed 15-of-25 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Miami's 22-7, Week 4 loss to the Bengals.

He also lost a fumble. Tannehill tossed a 74-yard touchdown on the Dolphins' second play from scrimmage and then proceeded to be stunningly terrible. Tannehill was certainly disadvantaged by awful offensive line play, but played with the pocket awareness of a seventh-round rookie. It was as if Tannehill was completely incapable of feeling pressure. Coach Adam Gase did a bafflingly-poor job of rectifying the situation with rollouts, etc., but Tannehill simply has to be better five years into his career. He'll be flirting with a benching if he continues to play like this. Tannehill will be a last-gasp QB2 against the Titans in Week 5.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports J.J. Watt underwent back surgery on Thursday and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

This was the fear and expectation all along since it was revealed on Tuesday that Watt re-injured his back. It's believed to be a recurrence of the herniated disk that Watt needed surgery for in the offseason. The Texans will need more from former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney and Whitney Mercilus.

Kamar Aiken (thigh) returned to Ravens practice Thursday, getting in a "full" session.

Aiken will be good to go for Week 4, but has fallen off the map in the Ravens' receiver corps. He has three catches for 19 yards.

Redskins CB Josh Norman is not expected to shadow Terrelle Pryor on Sunday.

Pryor is coming off a monster game, but has five inches on the 6-foot-0 Norman. He's also used all over the alignment. "We’re still working on our game plan now and (Pryor's) all over the place," coach Jay Gruden said. "Team defense is gonna have to take him away, somebody different every time possibly." Gruden lays out the situation pretty accurately. Pryor is an upside WR2.

Dolphins SLB Koa Misi (neck) and WLB Jelani Jenkins (groin) are inactive for Week 4 vs. the Bengals.

The Dolphins' already thin run defense figures to offer even less resistance to Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard. Spencer Paysinger is filling in for Misi, Donald Butler for Jenkins.
Sep 29 - 7:22 PM

Tyler Lockett (knee) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Lockett will be good to go against the Jets' burnable secondary. He's a risk/reward WR4.
