Michael Floyd (probable, ankle) declared himself 85-90 percent healthy following Friday's practice.
Coach Bruce Arians succinctly said he expects Floyd to be fine for Sunday's division tilt with the Rams. Floyd will be a top-20 fantasy wideout play.
Appearing on NFL Insiders Friday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen floated current Redskins coach Mike Shanahan as a possible candidate for the Texans' head-coaching vacancy.
This is all just speculation because Shanahan remains under contract with the Redskins and the Texans' coaching search hasn't even begun yet, but Mort isn't the first NFL Insider to connect Shanahan to Houston. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora and ESPN's John Clayton have similarly done so. Owner Bob McNair made it clear Friday that he intends to hire a coach with NFL head-coaching experience. Shanahan fits that bill and would also allow for a smooth transition on offense. Shanahan's philosophy is very similar to ex-coach Gary Kubiak's.
Jay Cutler (ankle, out) participated in Friday's practice.
Cutler has been ruled out for Week 14, but he's still trending toward a Week 15 comeback. Coach Marc Trestman said Cutler's ankle "responded well" enough to Thursday's practice that he was "not inhibited" on Friday.
Brandon Marshall (quad) returned to a full practice Friday.
Marshall was given a rest day on Thursday, but will be all systems go Monday night against Dallas. He's the No. 4 wideout in all of fantasy football.
Rams LT Jake Long (concussion) has been cleared to start in Week 14.
It's good news for Zac Stacy, though his matchup remains daunting at Arizona. Pro Football Focus has graded Long as a top-five left tackle on the year.
Daniel Thomas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 14 after a limited practice Friday.
Despite the upgrade on the injury report, Thomas is either expected to be inactive or play minimal snaps Sunday at Heinz Field. Lamar Miller remains a roll-of-the-dice flex option coming off of a season high 23 touches.
Adrian Peterson (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 14 after returning to Friday's practice.
Peterson has frequently been listed as questionable this season, but hasn't missed a single game. Start him Sunday against Baltimore's top-ten run defense.
Ravens OLB Elvis Dumervil (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Week 14.
It's a blow to Baltimore's fantasy defense outlook, as Dumervil leads the team in sacks (9.5). He will be replaced in the lineup by Courtney Upshaw.
