Dennis Schroder was not present during Wednesday's practice.

Schroder has experienced some travel issues on his way back to the USA from Germany, but the Hawks don't play until Friday, so he still has some time to make it back stateside.

Willie Cauley-Stein understands that the departure of DeMarcus Cousins has opened a big opportunity for him to see some increased minutes in Sacramento.

While per-36 numbers are far from perfect, we can get a glimpse of what WCS is capable of by taking a peek at his per-36 minutes numbers of 16.0 points, 7.5 boards, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. He'll have every opportunity to secure the starting five-spot in Sacramento, so he's someone to consider taking a flier on if you need a big that can rack up the boards and blocks.

Thabo Sefolosha (groin) may be able to return to the court for Friday's game against the Heat.

Sefolosha was spotted getting up some 3s after going through a full practice on Wednesday and given that he's been out since Jan. 27 with this groin injury, he has to be getting very close to a return. Sefolosha has value as a steals specialist as Atlanta's starting small forward, but a trade at the deadline would likely crush his value. Until he's actually playing games, he can remain on the wire in most leagues.

The Rockets are reportedly uninterested in trading away Patrick Beverley at the deadline.

Beverley has reportedly received interest from the Cavs, Knicks and Bulls, but with Beverley also happy in Houston it would be shocking to see a trade go down. Beverley has been a top-50 guy this season, although his value could take a slight hit, as his minutes are likely to be reduced with Lou Williams now on the roster.

The Pacers are reportedly gauging the trade market for Paul George.

The Pacers could go in one of two directions at the deadline, bring in talent to appease PG-13, or send him away and queue a rebuild centered around Myles Turner. George will likely opt-out of his contract following the 2017-18 season, making him an unrestricted free agent in 2018, so teams may be reluctant to make a deal for him without a promise that he'll re-sign at the new location. For what it's worth, George has said he'd be interested in re-signing with the Pacers as a free agent or going back to his hometown of Los Angeles (with the Lakers), so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Beno Udrih (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

This is the first blurb we've had on Udrih since Detroit claimed him off waivers back in October, which tells you just about all you need to know of his non-existent fantasy value.

Al-Farouq Aminu (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Magic.

This is not a good sign at all after Aminu had all of the All-Star break to rest up, and for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Sunday's game against the Raptors as well. With both Evan Turner (hand) and Aminu out of commission on Thursday night, Noah Vonleh or Meyers Leonard could draw the start at power forward, and Moe Harkless should be able to flirt with minutes in the 30s.

76ers head coach said he'd like to see Ben Simmons take the court this season.

Simmons was limited to individual work during Wednesday's practice, and he's scheduled to have another CT scan on Thursday. While Brown would like to see what he's got in the No. 1 overall pick, the 76ers are running out of time, and considering he's yet to go through any 5-on-5 work we can go ahead and assume he'll miss both games this weekend. The talent is there, but at this point, Simmons just isn't a great standard league stash.
