Brandon Marshall said he's not open to taking a pay cut.

It conflicts with comments Marshall made earlier this month. Marshall is due $7.5 million coming off one of his worst seasons. With none of his salary guaranteed, the Jets will either keep Marshall or move on from him.

Jordy Nelson (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

It's a step in the right direction after Nelson worked with the rehab group all last week. Nelson is still looking on the doubtful side for the NFC Championship. Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison are also up in the air.

Jaguars hired Nathaniel Hackett as offensive coordinator.

Hackett's job was in question after the Jaguars brought in Chip Kelly for an interview. Jacksonville showed little improvement with Hackett, but he'll remain their coordinator after finishing out the final nine games. The Jaguars should be more of a run-balanced team under Hackett in 2017.

Geronimo Allison (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.

Davante Adams (ankle) was also held out. The Packers have injuries to three of their top four receivers going into the NFC Championship. Allison's status will be updated Thursday.

Seahawks signed CB Perrish Cox.

Cox was cut from Tennessee in November. He'll try to rehab his value in Seattle after briefly playing for them in 2013. The Seahawks need corner depth with Deshawn Shead recovering from a torn ACL.

Giants signed C Khaled Holmes to a reserve/future contract.

Holmes spent this year out of the league after signing with Chicago in the preseason. He made seven starts with the Colts in 2015. Holmes will compete for a depth role on the interior line.

CBSSports' Jason La Canfora reports the Bills have interest in Packers QB coach Alex Van Pelt as their offensive coordinator.

The Bills were scheduled to interview Greg Olson this week, but lost him to the Rams. Van Pelt has coached Green Bay's quarterbacks the last three seasons and has ties to Buffalo, where he spent the majority of his career as a backup. He would be a risky fit under defensive-minded HC Sean McDermott. The Bills would have to wait until after the Packers are eliminated from the playoffs to hire Van Pelt.

Taylor Gabriel (foot) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Gabriel returned for the Divisional Round after sitting out the regular season finale, catching 4-of-6 targets for 71 yards. The Falcons are limiting his reps ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: Per Mike Clay, the Packers have allowed the most FPPG to WRs who line up on the right side of the field, something that bodes particularly well for Taylor Gabriel. The speedy receiver lines up on the right side about half the time, with Julio Jones running roughly a third of his routes out of that spot. It's possible that the Packers use LaDarius Gunter to shadow Jones, but that would even further increase the appeal of Gabriel. On the other side of this match-up, the Falcons have allowed the 2nd most FPPG to slot receivers, so Randall Cobb becomes very intriguing if Jordy Nelson sits.
