Billy Hamilton went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and stole two bases in a win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Hamilton was able to show off his impressive speed all afternoon both as a runner and as a defender, and the two steals give him 13 on the season. He's struggled with the bat for most of 2018 -- and most of his career, if we're being honest -- but there have been signs of life as of late. If he's available in your league and you need help in the steals category, he's worth picking up despite his .197 average.

Raisel Iglesias allowed a run over his 1 1/3 innings against the Pirates, but picked up his 10th save on Sunday.

Iglesias was not at his best on Sunday, and allowed an RBI single by Austin Meadows that cut the Reds lead to 8-6. He was still able to get the necessary outs, and he punched out two Pittsburgh hitters to help the ole stat line. Iglesias still has a solid 2.45 ERA on the 2018 season, and he's 10-for-12 in save opportunities.
Jun 17 - 5:41 PM

Anthony DeSclafani allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings in a victory over the Pirates on Sunday.

He allowed just three hits in the contest, and DeSclafani walked just one while striking out four. The only reason this line didn't end up better is that two of those three hits were solo homers. Still, it's easily the best start of the season for DeSclafani, who has made just three starts because of an oblique injury. Start number four comes against the Cubs on Saturday.

Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer to help the Reds to an 8-6 victory on Sunday over the Pirates.

The homer came off of Joe Musgrove, and it gives the underrated third baseman 14 on the season. Somewhat quietly, Suarez now has his line on the year up to .297/.384/.569, and the 14 homers and 52 RBI are more impressive when you remember he missed a couple of weeks while on the disabled list. He's also homered in back-to-back games, and his hitting streak extends to eight.
Jun 17 - 5:34 PM

Joe Musgrove allowed six runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

It was easily the worst start for Musgrove this year, as the former Astro wasn’t fooling the Cincinnati hitters at all, despite having six strikeouts in the four-plus innings. Musgrove was due for a bad start; it just wasn’t expected to happen against the Reds’ mediocre lineup. He still has a 3.68 ERA on the season, and he’ll attempt to get back on track when he faces the Diamondbacks on Friday.
Jun 17 - 5:30 PM

Nick Markakis went 3-for-4 with a run scored on Sunday in a victory over the Padres.

Markakis had one of the three hits go for a double, which gives the veteran outfielder 21 so far on the 2018 season. He also raises his average to .327, and his OPS sits at .876 over 71 games. It goes without saying, but this has been an outstanding first-half for a hitter many believed was no longer a viable option coming into the year.
Jun 17 - 5:29 PM

Hunter Renfroe went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in a loss to the Braves on Sunday.

San Diego hitters struck out 17 times on Sunday against Julio Teheran and the Braves bullpen, and Renfroe accounted for nearly a quarter of them. There have been flashes of brilliance for the former first-round pick since coming off the disabled list, but his average drops to .238, and he's now fanned 32 times in his 35 games.
Jun 17 - 5:26 PM

Giants signed first-round-pick C Joey Bart.

According to Jim Callis of MLB.com, Bart will receive a $7.025 million signing bonus, which is the largest bonus for any position player in draft history. The big catcher from Georgia Tech has plus power and is a skilled defender behind the plate.
