Zack Greinke improved to 2-0 after allowing three runs over 6 2/3 innings against the Rockies on Saturday.

Greinke has a 1.83 ERA and an even more impressive 0.71 WHIP after three starts. With the Padres and Giants next on the schedule, he's a definite threat for NL pitcher of the month honors.

Joel Peralta earned save No. 3 in Saturday's victory over the Rockies.

Peralta pitched a hitless ninth in a 6-3 game in his first appearance in five days. The 39-year-old right-hander had been bothered by a sore neck. With six straight scoreless appearances to begin the season, he looks like the Dodgers' full-time closer in Kenley Jansen's absence.

Yasiel Puig went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a walk Saturday against the Rockies.

Puig played the entire game in right field tonight after missing the previous four days with hamstring soreness.

D.J. LeMahieu's first homer was a two-run shot off Zack Greinke on Saturday.

The typically light-hitting LeMahieu is batting .463 over his first 41 at-bats of 2015. It hasn't moved him up in the Rockies order, so he's still irrelevant outside of NL-only leagues.

Felix Hernandez fanned 12 while holding the Rangers to one run over seven innings in a victory Saturday.

Although Hernandez was still bothered by some tightness in his quad, it didn't show in his performance; he allowed just two hits on the night. It was his 11th career 12-strikeout game and first since he fanned 15 against the Rays last June 8.
Apr 19 - 1:18 AM

Fernando Rodney pitched a perfect ninth against the Rangers for his third save Saturday.

It was Rodney's first appearance since he took a loss and a blown save on Tuesday. He lowered his ERA from 16.20 to 12.46 with the outing.
Apr 19 - 1:16 AM

Brad Miller went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a stolen base on Saturday.

He was picked off second base after the steal, so it wasn't all good. Still, it was a positive development. Now that Chris Taylor is healthy again, Miller could face competition at shortstop in two or three weeks. However, if he gets hot, the job should be his for good.
Apr 19 - 1:15 AM

Rougned Odor went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Saturday, dropping his average to .158.

Odor's .158 average hardly stands out among Rangers regulars, so he's not in any danger of losing playing time. The team's offense certainly isn't great, but it can't be this bad, and Odor still projects as a contributor in mixed leagues.
