Nick Hundley was a last minute scratch Thursday against the Giants.

The change was never announced. Hundley was listed in the lineup but Tony Wolters came to the plate when it was his turn to bat in the first inning. It's possible he suffered an injury, though beat writer Nick Groke of the Denver Post said he didn't notice anything unusual with Hundley when he hit before the game. We'll wait for manager Walt Weiss to explain himself before jumping to any conclusions.

Chris Johnson had an RBI double in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Johnson, getting a start at first base, knocked the run-scoring double -- his first RBI of the season -- in the fourth inning against Diamondbacks starter Robbie Ray. He finished 1-for-4 in the game. The 31-year-old is batting just .207/.281/.276 on the year.

Robbie Ray allowed two runs over 5 1/3 innings in Thursday's loss to the Marlins.

Ray gave up six hits and a walk, striking out five in the loss. He's had some clunkers, but the poor guy can't catch a break, either -- Thursday was the third consecutive game his team was shut out in one of his starts. Through six starts, the southpaw has a 4.70 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 32/16 K/BB ratio over 30 2/3 innings. It doesn't get much easier Tuesday when Ray takes on the Rockies in Colorado.

Adam Conley pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Conley held the D'backs to two hits and a walk while striking out six. It was a nice follow-up to his 7 2/3 no-hit innings his last time out. The win was his second of the season, and he now owns a 3.06 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 34/13 K/BB ratio over 32 1/3 innings this year. Conley will look to make it three straight Tuesday against the Brewers, the team he nearly no-hit last week.

Pedro Alvarez plated the only run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning to down the Yankees 1-0 on Thursday.

Alvarez went hitless in three at-bats but was able to lift a fly ball deep enough to score Nolan Reimold and give the O's a victory. He has just one homer and four RBI in 19 games thus far with his new club, batting a paltry .196/.303/.321.
May 5 - 10:47 PM

Zach Britton tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the win Thursday against the Yankees.

Britton entered with two outs in the ninth in a scoreless game and pitched the top of the 10th inning before the O's won in the bottom of the frame. Britton struck out three while issuing a walk. His ankle is clearly no longer an issue, and he should be fine moving forward.

Didi Gregorius went 0-for-3 in Thursday's loss to the Orioles, dropping his season average to .215.

Gregorius was hitting .286/.294/.449 on April 22. Since then, he's got just three hits in 33 at-bats. The shortstop is batting .215/.241/.316 with two homers, six RBI and five runs overall.
May 5 - 10:37 PM

Matt Wieters went 2-for-4 in Thursday's win over the Yankees.

Wieters had two of the Orioles' seven hits against Masahiro Tanaka and company, as hits and runs were hard to come by for both sides. It was Wieters' first multi-hit game in nine games as he continues to struggle at the plate. The backstop has one home run and eight RBI with a .234/.300/.313 line in 18 games this year.
