White Sox pitching prospect Dane Dunning left a start with Double-A Birmingham on Saturday due to right elbow soreness.

Manager Rick Renteria said Sunday that he elbow issue is believed to be minor, but Dunning will undergo an MRI just in case. He's had a fantastic season between High- and Double-A, holding a 2.71 ERA and 100/26 K/BB ratio over 86 1/3 frames.

Tommy Pham is absent from the Cardinals' lineup Sunday.

Pham has followed a 13-game hitting streak with four straight hitless contests, which included a golden sombrero Saturday. Harrison Bader will cover center field.
Jun 24 - 12:04 PM

Mark Trumbo is not in the Orioles' lineup Sunday due to a sore right knee.

Trumbo missed some time late last month with a sore knee, as well. He's expected back in the lineup on Monday, though. Colby Rasmus is in right field.

Lorenzo Cain (groin) is not in the Brewers' lineup SUnday.

Cain has been banged up lately, exiting Thursday's game with a hamstring injury and Saturday's game with groin tightness. He's considered day-to-day for now. Christian Yelich will play center field and Hernan Perez is getting a start in right.
Jun 24 - 12:00 PM

Gregory Polanco is not in the Pirates' lineup again Sunday.

Polanco has been benched in three straight and four of the last five games, as Austin Meadows has been the preferred option in right field of late. He's hitting just .215/.325/.421 this season and it's getting harder to justify a roster spot for him in mixed leagues.
Jun 24 - 11:44 AM

Salvador Perez is not in the Royals' lineup Sunday.

It's a routine day off. Drew Butera will do the catching. Whit Merrifield is also sitting out, as the Royals have Adalberto Mondesi at second base.

Chris Taylor (hamstring) remained out of the Dodgers' lineup Sunday.

He's now missed three straight starts with a tight left hamstring. Taylor did come off the bench to deliver a two-run double Saturday, so odds are he won't miss many (if any) more starts. Enrique Hernandez is at shortstop for the third day in a row.
Jun 24 - 11:33 AM

Justin Turner is not in the Dodgers' lineup Sunday.

Turner has struggled since returning from the disabled list and will get a breather in this one. Max Muncy is at third base. Yasmani Grandal is also sitting out, as the Dodgers have Austin Barnes at catcher.
