Derek Carr (thumb, ankle) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.
Carr's health is not a concern, but his play remains one. Carr is a bottom-five option for the fantasy finals.
Michael Crabtree (knee) returned to 49ers practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.
The WR4 is now on track to start Saturday's game against the Chargers. Crabtree's status will be updated on Friday.
Arian Foster (hip) returned to Texans practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.
Foster's Week 16 availability isn't believed to be in doubt. Even against the Ravens' stingy run defense, he's a high-end RB1 for the fantasy finals.
Ex-Bucs OC Jeff Tedford has agreed to become the new head coach of the CFL's BC Lions.
A coach in the college ranks from 1992-2012, Tedford's first foray into the NFL ended before it started thanks to a heart issue. He was released from his contract two weeks ago. Tedford actually has experience in Canada both as a coach and player. The longtime Cal head man likely hopes to eventually land back in the college ranks as a head coach.
The Bills have yet to decide if C.J. Spiller (collarbone) will be active for Week 16.
"I think he looks good," coach Doug Marrone said Thursday. "It's just a matter of waiting until the end of the week and make a move there." Marrone went on to say Spiller has looked "explosive," and is "moving well." Spiller will change the pace for Fred Jackson if he's active against the Raiders.
Ronnie Hillman (foot) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Hillman remains day to day. Juwan Thompson (hip, knee) sat out Thursday's practice, leaving C.J. Anderson's Week 16 backup up in the air.
Juwan Thompson (hip, knee) was sidelined Thursday.
Thompson's status for Monday Night Football appears uncertain. If he can't go, Ronnie Hillman (foot) may finally be ready to return as C.J. Anderson's backup.
Speaking Thursday, walk-year WR Randall Cobb said he's yet to begin long-term talks with the Packers.
"I guess there's still more to do," Cobb said. "So, just continue to put my nose down every day and focus on getting the team into the playoffs, and doing everything I can to bring back the Super Bowl." Cobb is 12th in the NFL in receiving (1,076 yards), while his 10 scores are tied for eighth. ESPN's Rob Demovsky believes the Pack are more likely to re-sign Cobb than not.
