Julian Edelman is active for Week 12 against the Lions.

He was listed as probable. The Pats' Week 12 inactives are OG Cameron Fleming, RB James White, WR Aaron Dobson, DT Dominique Easley, DE Chandler Jones, CB Malcolm Butler, and OG Jordan Devey.

Bucs WLB Lavonte Davis has been declared inactive for Week 12 against the Bears.

One of the best linebackers in the league, David (hamstring) will be a big miss for the Buccaneers' defense. Matt Forte was primed for a big day even before David was ruled out, and now has a real shot to finish as the top overall running back for Week 12. The Bucs also declared WR Robert Herron, RB Mike James, CB Crezdon Butler, CB C.J. Wilson, T Kevin Pamphile and DE De'Quan Bowers inactive for Week 12.

Julio Jones (illness) is active for Week 12 against the Browns.

As is Harry Douglas (foot). Jones' status was never in doubt even though he missed two practices. He'll be a low-end WR1 against Joe Haden and the Browns. Inactive for the Falcons are QB Sean Renfree, CB Robert Alford, LB Tyler Starr, OT Jonathan Scott, OT Cameron Bradfield, LB James Anderson and DT Cliff Matthews.

Giovani Bernard is listed as the Bengals' starting running back for Week 12 against the Texans.

This was expected. Bernard gets veteran deference despite being outplayed by Jeremy Hill all season. Despite Gio getting the technical "start," beat writers anticipate Hill handling more work against Houston. The Bengals' Week 12 inactives are WR Dane Sanzenbacher, RB Rex Burkhead, CB Chris Lewis-Harris, LB Vontaze Burfict, OT Tanner Hawkinson, WR Greg Little, DE Margus Hunt.

Coach Mike Zimmer made it clear Adrian Peterson will be a Viking when or if he's reinstated from suspension.

Peterson has essentially been suspended indefinitely; the NFL announced his ban as "at least" until the end of this season. "All I know of Adrian is that he's always been great with me, always done what I've asked him to do, and I kind of go by what I see," said Zimmer. Peterson's appeal hearing will go down on December 2. There is a very slim chance he could play late in the season. On the off chance he is reinstated, Zimmer's comments strongly indicate the Vikings would welcome back Peterson with open arms.

Ben Tate "will be active and have a role today," per NFL Network's Albert Breer.

Matt Asiata is out with a concussion, so Tate and Joe Banyard will back up Jerick McKinnon. We'd be surprised if Tate handled more than six touches off the bench against Green Bay. He's not a flex option.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "it would take a miracle" for Larry Fitzgerald (knee) to play Week 12 against the Seahawks.

Fitzgerald didn't practice at all this week and appears to be on the wrong side of the questionable tag. He's battling a sprained MCL. If Fitzgerald sits, Michael Floyd and John Brown will start at receiver with Jaron Brown filling in as the No. 3. John Brown would make for an interesting play against a Seahawks defense that tends to get burned by smaller, faster receivers.

Isaiah Crowell is listed as the Browns' starting running back for Week 12.

As beat reporter Tony Grossi notes, "we've seen this change before, however." For instance, Ben Tate was listed as the Browns' starter in Week 11. The Browns proceeded to start Crowell and utilize him as a full-on feature back, while Terrance West was the change-of-pace runner and Tate was almost strictly used on third downs. Crowell is the best Week 12 fantasy start in Cleveland's backfield, but there is still plenty of volatility with this situation. Keep in mind the Browns' offensive coordinator is Mike Shanahan's son.
