Corey Seager has been diagnosed with a right hamstring cramp.

He's considered day-to-day. Fantasy owners and Dodgers' fans alike can now breathe a sigh of relief. Look for him to return to the Dodgers' staring lineup at some point this weekend.

Brandon Phillips went 2-for-5 with a homer and two RBI in Friday’s 5-4 victory over the Brewers.

Phillips got the Braves on the board with a solo shot off Jimmy Nelson in the first inning before knocking in another run with a double in the fifth. The 35-year-old left Thursday’s game with left groin tightness, but clearly he’s feeling a lot better. Phillips has turned back the clock so far this season by batting .303/.347/.450 with six homers, 26 RBI, seven steals, and 37 runs scored through 66 games.

Mike Foltynewicz walked away with the victory after holding the Brewers to one run in five innings of work on Friday.

The lone run scored on a solo homer off the bat of Keon Broxton in the fourth inning. Folty gave up four hits and three walks while striking out nine batters, so he needed 104 pitches to complete five innings. He’s now won five out of his last six decisions to move to 5-5 on the year. He’ll bring a 4.10 ERA into a tasty matchup against the Padres in San Diego next week.

Jimmy Nelson surrendered four runs in five innings in a loss to the Braves on Friday.

Coming off his first career complete game, Nelson put himself in an early hole by giving up two runs in the first inning, including a solo homer to Brandon Phillips. The Braves later tacked on two more runs in the fifth. Nelson struck out eight and walked three in the loss and now stands at 5-3 with a 3.50 ERA and 93/24 K/BB ratio in 90 innings across 15 starts on the year. He’ll try to bounce back against the Reds in his next outing.

Arodys Vizcaino notched his first save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning Friday against the Brewers.

Jim Johnson was unavailable after throwing 39 pitches over the previous two days. Vizcaino gave up a leadoff double to Eric Thames to begin the ninth inning, but Dansby Swanson bailed him out with a nice play at third base. Vizcaino then retired the final two batters he faced to lock down the victory. The 26-year-old owns a strong 1.99 ERA and 36/9 K/BB ratio through 31 2/3 innings. He’s the natural fallback to Johnson for the closer role.

Orlando Arcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run double and a stolen base Friday versus the Braves.

Arcia brought the Brewers within one run with his double off Jose Ramirez in the eighth, but that’s as close as the Braves would get. The 22-year-old has perked up in June and now owns a .267/.312/.387 batting line on the year to go along with five homers and five steals.

Keon Broxton slugged a solo homer, drew a walk, and scored two runs in Friday’s loss to the Braves.

Broxton has amassed six homers and 13 RBI over his last 13 games. The 27-year-old appeared vulnerable when top prospect Lewis Brinson was called up earlier this month, but the recent surge should buy him some time. Brinson will likely head back to Triple-A once Ryan Braun is activated from the disabled list.

Wilson Ramos (knee) will be activated from the disabled list on Saturday.

He had been expected to rejoin the Rays on Sunday, but they'll bring him up a day early. The 29-year-old signed a two-year, $12.5 million deal over the offseason after undergoing major right knee surgery in October. When healthy, he's one of the top offensive catchers in all of baseball.
