Monta Ellis scored 16 points with one rebound, three assists and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.

He looked like he was headed for a huge game with 14 points in the first half. Ellis has shown a lot of burst this month and he's about as hot as he's been all season. In his last five, he's averaged 13.4 points, 2.4. boards, 4.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.2 treys on 62.2 percent from the field. He's worth a long look in standard leagues right now.

Rakeem Christmas scored four points with five rebounds and one block in 14 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.

With Al Jefferson out, it was Christmas getting the backup minutes at the five. He played in the first quarter and actually had a +14 in +/- for his first six minutes. Jefferson shouldn't be out long, so leave Christmas on the wire.

Mike Conley scored 10 points during 102-92 loss in Indiana on Friday, adding five rebounds, seven assists and one turnover in 32 minutes.

Coach David Fizdale wasn't happy with his team after this dud and called it "unacceptable." Conley went 0-of-4 from the line today for the most attempts in a game without a make in his career -- he's actually only gone 0-of-2 just four times in his career. Marc Gasol also came out flat with 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block in 32 minutes. The Grizzlies get a great matchup against the Nuggets on Sunday, so expect a bounce back for both aforementioned studs.

Chandler Parsons played 19 minutes with four points, one rebound, one assist and one turnover against the Pacers on Friday.

Coach David Fizdale said the Grizzlies will take baby steps with Chandler Parsons, but his increase in playing time looks like it may be more of a crawl. We're assuming he's going to have a restriction until the postseason.
Feb 24 - 9:30 PM

Troy Daniels played 15 minutes with 13 points, two assists, three steals and four 3-pointers against the Pacers on Friday.

The Grizzlies needed some late scoring, so they turned to their Money Green guy to try and close the gap with triples. It didn't work with the Grizzlies losing by 10 points. Daniels is not a lock to play against the Nuggets on Sunday, but he should see double-digit minutes.
Feb 24 - 9:28 PM

Paul George limped to the locker room with less than one minute remaining in the fourth quarter on Friday.

He had an awkward landing on his right leg and had a trainer come out to look at him while he was standing. George eventually went to the bench and had a trainer look at him while he was grimacing for about two minutes, but then limped to the locker room with about 30 seconds left. We should have an update on George in the post-game.He finished with just nine points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

Pau Gasol - F/C - Spurs

Pau Gasol (hand) will come off the bench on Friday vs. the Clippers.

He's been out since Jan. 19, so this move is designed to limit Gasol's minutes in his first game back. Make sure he's not sitting on the waiver wire even though he has taken a noticeable step back in terms of fantasy value this season. Dewayne Dedmon will draw the start at least one more time, but he's an easy drop candidate.
Feb 24 - 9:16 PM

Chris Paul (thumb) will return to the lineup to face the Spurs on Friday night.

He's back. CP3 tweeted out that he was going to return for this game, so this isn't a surprise despite the questionable tag. He has done some conditioning while he's been out and he was cleared a couple days ago, so there's no reason to think he'll have a hard limit. Austin Rivers and Ray Felton will take a backseat.
