Curtis Granderson blasted his 17th home run of the season as the Mets completed their three-game sweep of the Nationals on Sunday.

Granderson's two-run blast off Jordan Zimmermann got the Mets on the board in the third inning. He would immediately be followed by a solo shot from teammate Daniel Murphy, a single from Yoenis Cespedes and a two-run bomb off the bat of Lucas Duda to provide the extent of the Mets offense. Granderson has quietly had a very strong season atop the Mets lineup, slashing .254/.347/.443 with 17 long balls and 38 RBI.

The 22-year-old now boasts a 2.66 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 100/20 K/BB ratio over 94 2/3 innings on the season. He'll look to continue his dominance on Saturday when he takes on the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Josh Reddick (back) is unlikely to play on Monday.

Reddick tweaked his back while making a running catch during Sunday's game against the Indians. He indicated that his back was feeling better after icing it though, and doesn't believe it will be an issue moving forward. Expect him to return to the A's lineup on Tuesday.
