Dolphins signed S Bacarri Rambo.
Rambo is a playmaker, but extremely undisciplined. He'll occupy a spot at the back end of a secondary that just lost Reshad Jones.
Seahawks placed DT Quinton Jefferson on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
The No. 147 overall pick of the draft, Jefferson needs surgery. He went down in practice last week. The fifth-rounder had played only 22 snaps on defense this season. He won't be guaranteed a spot on the 53-man roster next season.
Free agent WR Stephen Hill has been suspended two games.
The reason is unclear. We haven't heard a peep on Hill since he couldn't survive the first round of cuts in Panthers camp.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak wants to keep Devontae Booker heavily involved going forward.
Booker out-snapped (35-29) and out-touched (18-16) C.J. Anderson on Monday, though Anderson won the yardage war 107-87. "(I) think (Booker) ... is becoming more comfortable with what we’re doing. We’re more comfortable with (Booker) on the field in pass protection right now. We’re just growing as a group." We'd still consider Anderson the favorite for touches, but Booker is seeing high-end RB3 workloads. He's a great RB2 fill-in with six teams on bye for Week 8.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak expects to continue using a 1-2 punch at running back going forward.
Devontae Booker out-snapped C.J. Anderson 35-29 on Monday, and out-touched him 18-16. Anderson narrowly out-gained him 107-87. "I sure hope so," Kubiak said of keeping both backs involved. "Hopefully we can have that many touches in a course of a game, but I saw two guys competing. I saw fresh guys on the field and I think that was good for us, but we were also getting more room to run. Those things go hand-in-hand." Although Anderson had his best game of the season on Monday, the situation renders him a volatile RB2, and locks Booker in as a high-end RB3.
Allen Hurns (neck, shoulder) was upgraded to "full" in Tuesday's practice.
Hurns was listed as "limited" on Monday, but the Jags didn't actually practice. He'll be ready to go as a low-end WR3 against the Titans.
Tajae Sharpe (knee) returned to Titans practice Tuesday, getting in a limited session.
It puts Sharpe on track for Thursday's game against the Jaguars, but doesn't guarantee he will suit up on a short week. Sharpe has faded from fantasy relevance, catching eight passes over his past four games.
Julius Thomas (ankle) was held out of Tuesday's practice.
Listed with his ankle last week, Thomas played 56-of-68 snaps against the Raiders. We'd guess the Jaguars are just managing his reps on a short week, but downgrades are always worthy of attention. Thomas' Wednesday status will be critical.
