Royals recalled LHP Eric Skoglund from Triple-A Omaha.

He's filling the roster spot left by Neftali Feliz, who was placed on the disabled list with right hand numbness. Skoglund struggled during his first stint in the big leagues, producing an ugly 5.59 ERA over three starts earlier this year. He'll likely be used in a long relief role.

Royals placed RHP Neftali Feliz on the 10-day disabled list with ulnar nerve palsy.

He's dealing with numbness in his right hand. The former AL Rookie of the Year has struggled this year, producing a mediocre 5.48 ERA over 49 relief outings between Milwaukee and Kansas City. Left-hander Eric Skoglund was recalled from Triple-A Omaha in the corresponding roster move.

Dodgers recalled LHP Edward Paredes from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The Dodgers also sent struggling outfielder Joc Pederson to OKC, placed Yu Darvish (back) on the 10-day DL and activated Curtis Granderson, who was acquired late last night in a trade with the Mets. Paredes has contributed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in the big leagues this year. He'll function as a middle relief arm/left-handed specialist.

Drew Pomeranz (back) said Saturday that while he's sore, he fully expects to make his next start.

Pomeranz was lifted from his start on Friday after just 3 1/3 innings due to back spasms. It appears to be just a minor issue though, so look for him to get the ball on Wednesday against the Indians in Cleveland.
