Cameron Maybin (wrist) went 1-for-3 with a single in his first rehab game Friday with Triple-A Tucson.

It was his first game action since April 15. Maybin is expected to need around 30 rehab at-bats, so he's on track to return sometime next week.

Brandon Belt returned to action Friday against the Rockies.

Belt played all nine innings and finished 1-for-3 with a single and drew a walk in the ninth inning in the loss. He had been dealing with lower back tightness, but was able to return following Thursday's off day. Belt is batting .300 (6-for-20 ) with one home run over his last seven games.

Matt Dominguez (quad) was 1-for-3 with a home run Friday in his return to the lineup.

Dominguez missed two days with a quad injury, but it was never a major concern. The 23-year-old now has five home runs and is batting .247/.389/.670 in 44 games this season.

Ronny Cedeno (illness) went 1-for-3 with a strikeout in his return to action Friday.

Cedeno missed time earlier this week with a sinus infection, but it's no longer an issue. He'll return to a part-time role at shortstop with Marwin Gonzalez.

Josh Fields (forearm) could be activated from the disabled list in 7-10 days.

Fields suffered a right forearm strain in the first week of the season and has appeared in four games at Double-A Corpus Christi during his rehab assignment. The Astros want to see Fields work consecutive games without any setbacks before he's activated from the DL.

Jeremy Hefner gave up two runs in six innings Friday against the Braves.

The game was suspended after eight innings and will resume Saturday. Hefner gave up a two-run homer to Freddie Freeman in the first inning, but retired 16 out of the final 19 batters he faced before exiting. However, LaTroy Hawkins coughed up the lead in the top of the eighth, which means that Hefner is still winless. He stuck out seven and walked two in the no-decision and owns a 4.67 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across nine starts and one relief appearance this season. He's not an option outside of deeper NL-only formats.
May 25 - 9:01 AM

Kris Medlen yielded three runs in six innings against the Mets on Friday.

Medlen struck out a season-high nine in the no-decision, including three whiffs of Ike Davis. While he hasn't been anywhere near as dominant as he was last year, he has allowed three earned runs or fewer in nine out of his 10 starts this this season. He'll carry a 3.16 ERA into a matchup against the Blue Jays next week.
May 25 - 9:00 AM

The Red Sox are expected to call up Jackie Bradley "in the coming days."

With Shane Victorino sidelined, Bradley is a strong candidate to be called up to the majors. The Red Sox are currently using Mike Carp in left field, and have just three active outfielders. Bradley is batting .375 (6-for-16) in his first four games with Triple-A Pawtucket since coming off the DL.
