White Sox OF prospect Mason Robbins tallied a career-high five hits Monday in a win for High-A Winston-Salem.

All of his hits were singles. Robbins has contributed at least two hits in seven of his last 10 games. He's hit .477 during that span while raising his average from .296 to .318. The 23-year-old leads the Carolina League in batting average and hits this year but his on base percentage sits at a relatively low .333 thanks to an unusually low walk rate (eight walks in 370 plate appearances).

J.T. Realmuto is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Phillies.

He's presumably getting a routine day of rest. Jeff Mathis will start behind the plate and catch Tom Koehler.

Blue Jays optioned RHP Ryan Tepera to Triple-A Buffalo.

The move clears the way for the newly-acquired Melvin Upton on the active roster. Tepera was just called up over the weekend, but didn't make an appearance during his brief stay with the big club.

Bryce Harper will bat second in Tuesday's game against the Indians.

This is the other big change in Washington's lineup on Tuesday. Harper has been the primary No. 3 hitter for most of the year, but he was moved to the cleanup spot earlier this month. Now he'll shift to second as the Nationals try to get him going. He's batting .200/.313/.371 in 83 plate appearances this month. Wilson Ramos will bat third while Jayson Werth will hit cleanup.

Trea Turner will start in center field Tuesday against the Indians.

Turner saw some time in center field in the minors, but this will be his first start at the position in the majors. He should see more time there with Ryan Zimmerman (rib cage) back from the disabled list. Turner is batting leadoff Tuesday while Ben Revere will play left and bat eighth. Jayson Werth is in the DH spot.
Jul 26 - 3:33 PM

Brett Lawrie (hamstring) is out of the starting lineup again Tuesday against the Cubs.

Lawrie hasn't played since leaving Thursday's game with tightness in his left hamstring. It's unclear if the White Sox are thinking about a stint on the disabled list. Tyler Saladino will continue to fill in at second base.

Astros minor league 1B A.J. Reed jolted three hits Monday in a win for Triple-A Fresno.

He homered and doubled twice while driving in three of the Grizzlies' seven runs. Reed returned to Fresno last week following a month-long stint in the majors. He's looked right at home since coming back, slugging five hits in his first 10 at-bats. 34 of Reed's 64 hits for Fresno this year have gone for extra bases. The 23-year-old won't be in the minors for long if he keeps shredding at Triple-A.

Diamondbacks 2B prospect Henry Castillo delivered a career-high five RBI Monday in a win for High-A Visalia.

He homered, singled and also plated a run on an RBI groundout. Castillo has done nice work for Visalia this year, hitting .289 with nine homers, six steals and a .459 slugging percentage. The 21-year-old holds a .300 career average in the minor leagues, though he had homered just six times in 721 at-bats prior to this season. Castillo leads the California League with 33 doubles this year.
