Rajon Rondo scored 15 points with two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 25 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

After a goose egg in his final game of the first half, Rondo has turned in two solid games after the break. In case you missed it yesterday, coach Fred Hoiberg said he wants to keep Rondo in the rotation to have some veteran balance to go with the youth at the one. He doesn't have a very fantasy-friendly game, so there's no need to add him.

Denzel Valentine scored 11 points with two rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 20 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

He's batting 1.000 in productive games since the front office had his back and said they wanted to get an extended look at him following the trade deadline. Valentine's play will make him a viable DFS punt when the Bulls don't have all of their veterans, but it's tough to own in in most leagues with only 20 minutes.

Kyrie Irving scored 34 points during a 117-99 loss to the Bulls on Saturday, adding nine rebounds, seven assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

He made 13-of-25 from the field with two turnovers as a one-man band at home. Before tonight, Irving had a massive 45.5 usage rate when he's not playing next to LeBron James (illness) and Kevin Love (knee) this season, so his 43.8 usage rate in this loss is hardly a surprise. If LeBron's strep throat keeps him out on Monday, Irving will be another easy DFS target. The Cavs do have a road-road back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday, so keep that in mind for the upcoming four-game week.

Monta Ellis scored eight points on 3-of-12 shooting vs. the Heat on Saturday, adding five assists, three rebounds and two turnovers.

Just when it looked like Ellis was turning the corner, he posts a dud like this. He averaged 13.4 points, 2.4 boards, 4.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.2 treys on 62.2 percent shooting from the field in his previous five games, but you might as well give him another chance in an uptempo matchup with Houston on Monday if you picked him up.

Richard Jefferson played 31 minutes in a start for LeBron James (illness) against the Bulls on Saturday, scoring nine points with three rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer.

LeBron has strep throat, but chances are he should be well enough to play on Monday against the Bucks. If not, Jefferson would still only be a desperation play in DFS or as a streamer. There are only seven games on Monday, though.
Feb 25 - 11:17 PM

Thaddeus Young was held to two points on 1-of-2 shooting vs. the Heat on Saturday.

After only attempting seven shots on Friday, Young may not be completely comfortable out there -- he said after Friday's game that his wrist still feels sore. Young played 26 minutes and added five rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks, and while you shouldn't drop him, it's not a bad idea to bench him until he proves that he's healthy.
Feb 25 - 11:15 PM

Myles Turner scored 18 points vs. the Heat on Saturday, shooting 8-of-19 from the field.

The 19 shot attempts were one short of a career-high, as Turner was forced to be more aggressive with Paul George getting ejected early in the third quarter. Turner grabbed seven rebounds with one assist, two steals and block, and he hit a pair of free throws as well. His fantasy owners can look forward to a great matchup with the Rockets on Monday -- Houston is allowing the fourth most fantasy points to centers this season.
Feb 25 - 11:11 PM

Kyle Korver scored 14 points with two rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday.

He did suffer a minor right knee injury and was flexing his leg on the bench in the fourth quarter. There's no reason to be alarmed just yet, but maybe the Cavs take it easy on their 35-year-old sharpshooter. Korver is a fine 3-point specialist in standard leagues, especially when he's so hot right now.
