Travis d'Arnaud (shoulder) has reported to the Mets' spring training facilities in Florida.

And the plan calls for d'Arnaud to resume full baseball activities on Thursday, per assistant general manager John Ricco. The 27-year-old catcher has been on the disabled list since April 26 with a strained right rotator cuff and remains without an exact timetable for activation. If he can avoid setbacks, it's possible we'll see him return in late June. But that's really just a guess.

Francisco Lindor is out of the Indians' starting lineup Wednesday afternoon against the White Sox.

It's a simple day of maintenance for Lindor. Jose Ramirez will draw the start at shortstop and bat third Wednesday versus White Sox left-hander Jose Quintana.

Matt Carpenter is getting the day off Wednesday.

It's just a routine day of rest. Ruben Tejada is starting at third base and batting eighth for St. Louis in the afternoon game against Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta. Kolten Wong will fill in at leadoff.

Mike Moustakas will have his bruised knee examined by team doctors on Thursday in Kansas City.

Moustakas has been held out of the Royals' starting lineup since banging his knee against Alex Gordon on Sunday afternoon in Chicago. Gordon took the brunt of that collision -- he's already been placed on the disabled list with a broken scaphoid bone in his right wrist -- but Moustakas is now having serious problems too. Per beat writer Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com, the third baseman was able to take swings Wednesday but had issues doing any sort of lateral movement. He could soon join Gordon on the DL. Cheslor Cuthbert is starting at the hot corner Wednesday afternoon in Minnesota.

Tyler Skaggs (elbow, biceps) could begin a minor league rehab assignment this weekend.

That's the word from Angels manager Mike Scioscia. Skaggs is on his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery and came down with biceps tendinitis earlier this month. He'll likely be asked to make several appearances in the minors before the Angels consider him an option for their starting rotation.
May 25 - 11:47 AM

Shane Greene (blister) tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings Wednesday in a rehab start with Triple-A Toledo.

Greene struck out seven and didn't walk a batter, scattering four hits over his 3 1/3 shutout frames. The right-hander also looked sharp in his rehab debut last Friday with Low-A West Michigan. He could be cleared to return to the Tigers early next week.
May 25 - 11:43 AM

Ben Revere is out of the Nationals' lineup Wednesday.

Revere slugged his fifth career homer as part of a 2-for-3 night on Tuesday against the Mets, but he'll take a seat for the matinee Wednesday with New York throwing left-hander Steven Matz. Michael Taylor is starting in center field and batting leadoff for Washington.
May 25 - 11:36 AM

Mike Moustakas (knee) remains absent from the Royals' starting lineup Wednesday versus the Twins.

Moustakas has now missed three straight games with a knee contusion that he suffered Sunday in a collision with Alex Gordon. He's still considered day-to-day. Cheslor Cuthbert will start at third base and bat seventh Wednesday against Twins righty Tyler Duffey.
