Browns signed OLB Cam Johnson off Arizona's practice squad.
Johnson spent most of last year in Cleveland’s system, but only appeared in one game. He’ll add depth with Nate Orchard on I.R. Corey Lemonier (doubtful, personal) will get Orchard’s snaps when active.
Jerick McKinnon (toe) has been removed from the injury report.
There was never any doubt over his status. McKinnon is Rotoworld's No. 24 running back for Week 4.
Stefon Diggs (groin) has been removed from the injury report.
He practiced fully Saturday and will start against the Giants. Diggs is expected to face shadow coverage from CB Janoris Jenkins on Monday night, but he is locked into secure usage as Minnesota's only wide receiving threat.
Vikings LG Alex Boone (hip) expects to play Monday night.
Boone was noncommittal on his status early in the week. He's been removed from the injury report after practicing fully Saturday. Boone's run blocking is down this year, but he's mostly held up in pass protection.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Dez Bryant (knee, questionable) is flying with the team to San Francisco.
Bryant basically ruled himself out on Friday, but the Cowboys will keep the charade going for another day. It would be shocking if Bryant suited up against the 49ers.
Browns placed OLB Nate Orchard on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
Cam Johnson was signed off Arizona's practice squad in a corresponding move. Orchard suffered a high-ankle sprain last week against the Dolphins. The nature of the injury suggests he could be designated for return. Corey Lemonier should see more snaps with Orchard sidelined, but he was added to the injury report Saturday as doubtful for personal reasons.
Dallas CB Morris Claiborne leads NFL cornerbacks in lowest completion percentage when targeted.
In 24 targets, Claiborne has allowed nine catches for 90 yards and a 37.5 completion percentage from opposing quarterbacks. While Claiborne has held his own, the Dallas pass defense still ranks 23rd among NFL defenses through three weeks and has given up consecutive 300+ passing yard performances. The Cowboys D/ST will be a middling Week 4 fantasy option on the road at San Francisco.
Panthers waived WR Brenton Bersin.
Bersin looked poised for a big role coming out of the preseason, but he played just five snaps the first three weeks. The Panthers likely needed his roster spot to sign some help for the offensive line.
