Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 16.
Like Ryan Griffin in Houston, Joseph Fauria is a fairly enticing Week 16 plug-n-play tight end for fantasy owners in desperate spots. The tight end position has been incredibly top heavy and ultimately thin throughout the 2013 fantasy football campaign. It's essentially been Jimmy Graham, Julius Thomas, Vernon Davis, and for a spell Rob Gronkowski, and then everyone else.
Terrance Williams (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 16 at Washington after Friday's "limited" practice.
Williams wound up doing very little during the practice week, missing Wednesday and Thursday's sessions before Friday's limited workout. He has not been a fantasy factor since Miles Austin returned "healthy" over a month ago.
49ers C Jonathan Goodwin admitted Friday retirement has "crossed his mind" for after this season.
Goodwin turned 35 earlier this month and isn't signed for the 2014 season. Centers often play effectively late into their 30s. Goodwin has graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 16 center in 2013, though he's struggled some in pass blocking. The Niners' offseason contract offer may determine Goodwin's fate.
Darren McFadden (ankle) participated in Raiders practice Friday.
He's on track to be Rashad Jennings' change-of-pace back in Week 16.
Bears GM Phil Emery said Friday the future of second-round LB Jon Bostic may be at outside linebacker instead of in the middle.
Bostic has had a difficult time shedding blocks since taking over as Chicago's starting middle linebacker, and is one of the primary reasons the Bears have been so porous versus the run. It's conceivable Bostic will end up on the strong or weak side long term, taking away from his Dynasty IDP prospects.
Garrett Graham (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Graham will be a game-time decision at best after failing to practice each day this week. He went through the same routine last week, was listed as questionable, and didn't play against the Colts. We're expecting the Texans to start rookie Ryan Griffin at tight end this week against the Broncos.
Chris Johnson (knee) is listed as probable for Week 16.
Johnson participated in Thursday and Friday's practices and will start against the Jaguars. He'll continue to be a dicey, boom-bust type RB2 play.
Daniel Thomas (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Thomas aggravated his ankle-ligament injury in last week's win over the Patriots. His status for Week 16 figures to come down to a game-time decision. If Thomas is declared inactive on Sunday, Lamar Miller would have some flex-play appeal, but we won't know Thomas' status until just before game time.
