ESPN's Cameron Wolfe believes Titans WR Taywan Taylor will see a "significant increase in his role" in Week 3 with Corey Davis sidelined.

Taylor hasn't played much this season, only recording 18 snaps through two weeks. His biggest play has been a 42-yard reception off a 'go' route against the Jaguars. He'll have an opportunity to prove himself in Week 3 with an increased role but it won't be easy against the Seahawks.

Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi said he was "feeling good" during Friday's practice.

"I feel like we have a good plan," Ajayi said. It looks like Ajayi will play, but how much work he will get is unknown. It seems unlikely he will get the 30 touches he had in Week 2, but he won't need a big workload to rack up fantasy points against the Jets. Ajayi should be in your lineup as long as he plays on Sunday.

Ravens restructured S Tony Jefferson's contract.

Baltimore also restructured the contract of K Justin Tucker, opening up $2.66M in cap space. Prior to this move, the Ravens' ranked 28th in the NFL in the amount of cap space.

Cardinals DC James Bettcher suggested ILB Deone Bucannon (ankle) isn't a lock to return this week.

This conflicts with comments from coach Bruce Arians. Bucannon is trending toward playing after practicing on a limited basis, but he's likely going to be a game-time decision. The Cardinals are expected to put Bucannon on a snap count if active.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said suspended SLB Lawrence Timmons is "taking the steps to make it back."

The Dolphins haven't provided much on Timmons since he went AWOL before Week 2. He can be suspended for up to four games under the CBA, but there's a good chance he'll return before that. Despite rumblings the Dolphins could move on from Timmons, his contract and Miami's lack of linebackers strongly suggests he'll be back with the team.

Seahawks CB Deshawn Shead (reserve/PUP, knee) could return in Week 7.

Coach Pete Carroll says Shead is "progressing well" in his recovery. Shead is out for at least the next four games, but has a chance to be activated when first eligible. With Jeremy Lane struggling, Shead should regain his starting role when healthy.

Rams coach Sean McVay said DB Lamarcus Joyner (hamstring) is day to day.

Joyner didn't return after going down in Thursday's win. It sounds like he's only dealing with a Grade-1 strain. Joyner has 10 days to get cleared for Week 4.

Eagles FS Rodney McLeod (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3.

This is an injury worth tracking with Corey Graham and Jaylen Watkins sidelined. McLeod looks like a game-time decision after getting in a limited practice Friday. The Eagles have a depleted secondary, leaving special teamer Chris Maragos the only other healthy safety on the roster.
