Indians top prospect Francisco Lindor picked up three hits on Friday, raising his line to .263/.333/.421 for the season.

In comparison to every other stop in the minor leagues, Lindor has struggled offensively during his time with Double-A Akron. It is important to remember that Lindor is 20 years old, and he is slugging a career high .421 while playing his consistently elite defense. Asdrubal Cabrera is hitting .220/.292/.390 for Cleveland, which could open the door for Lindor's promotion.

Reds outfield prospect Jesse Winker is off to a solid start for High-A Bakersfield, hitting .322/.408/.525 through 15 games with six doubles and two home runs.

He sports a .303/.402/.480 line over 183 games as a professional, which includes 40 doubles, 8 triples, and 23 home runs. Winker lacks the upside of many top prospects, but the Florida native has hit well at every level and profiles as a high-OBP left fielder with some power. Winker has a ways to go before he is ready to face big-league pitching, but he could be up in early 2016.

Rays optioned RHP Brad Boxberger from Triple-A Durham.

Boxberger did a very nice job in his three appearances with the Rays, compiling a 2.57 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 4/2 K/BB ratio in four innings of work. He'll make his way back to the Rays at some point during the season.

According to Peter Gammons, Johan Santana has seen his velocity slowly climb and isn't far away from being ready to return to the big leagues.

Santana is now up to 85 MPH and continues to make steady progress. He has his sights set on becoming the winningest Venezuelan pitcher of all time, though fantasy owners shouldn't expect much even if he does make his way to the Orioles.
