Dez Bryant (concussion) won't travel with the Cowboys for their third preseason game Thursday against the Seahawks.

He suffered a concussion at Monday's practice and hasn't been cleared yet. Tyrone Crawford (concussion) won't be making the trip to Seattle either. Bryant has caught all four of his targets for 64 yards and a touchdown this preseason. His Week 1 status doesn't appear to be in danger.

The Jets' coaching staff has acknowledged that second-round QB Christian Hackenberg has flaws in his mechanics.

Despite these flaws, the Jets have been careful not to overwhelm Hackenberg while he's still learning the team's playbook. "It's like a golfer," said QBs coach Kevin Patullo. "You don't want to change his swing midseason." Obviously the Jets are in no rush to get Hackenberg on the field. Right now he's a distant fourth on the team's quarterback depth chart.

Jets third-round OLB Jordan Jenkins is dealing with a calf injury.

Coach Todd Bowles said he's "day to day" or "week to week," which suggests come uncertainty. If it's week to week, Jenkins could be in danger of missing Week 1 against the Bengals. Jenkins has been competing with Mike Catapano for the starting job at strong side linebacker.

The Eagles are shopping DE Taylor Hart, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Hart logged 27 tackles in 14 games including one start last season. The former fifth-round pick profiles as a 3-4 defensive end, which makes him an odd fit in Jim Schwartz's 4-3 scheme. Hart and Beau Allen have been fighting for reps at defensive tackle behind starters Fletcher Cox and Bennie Logan.

ESPN.com's Katherine Terrell suggests the Bengals are still uncertain who will start at receiver opposite A.J. Green.

Brandon LaFell opened camp as the favorite for No. 2 duties but Terrell believes his hand injury has made the situation "a little more muddled." Meanwhile rookie Tyler Boyd has had a productive preseason while drawing praise from WRs coach James Urban. "He's natural football player," said Urban. "He has great football instincts." LaFell and Boyd aren't projected to be major fantasy assets, though both players should be more involved during Tyler Eifert's absence.

Cardinals team reporter Darren Urban says the starting cornerback job opposite Patrick Peterson is "far from settled."

It will likely come down to either Brandon Williams or Justin Bethel, though coach Bruce Arians has called Mike Jenkins a "sleeper." Urban conceded that if the season started today, Williams would likely get the nod over Bethel, who has spent most of camp recovering from a foot injury. Whoever earns the starting job will be targeted frequently as teams tend to avoid throwing at Peterson.

Suspended WR Justin Blackmon received a one-year suspended sentence Wednesday after pleading guilty to an April DUI charge.

He's also been put on probation. Blackmon will avoid jail time as long as he complies with the conditions set by an Oklahoma judge. An immense talent coming out of Oklahoma State, the former top-five pick has sabotaged his career with repeated substance abuse and other off-field issues. The odds of him ever playing another NFL snap are slim to none.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports newly acquired Redskins C Bryan Stork is "weighing retirement."

Ex-Redskins TE Chris Cooley sent the Internet into a frenzy Wednesday when he tweeted "Actually Stork is retiring. Huh? This just got interesting." A number of beat writers chimed in including Mike Jones of the Washington Post, who confirmed from a source that Stork was "possibly" calling it quits. If Stork does decide to hang it up, it would be a dramatic turn of events after opening Patriots camp as a starter. It might take a while for this situation to resolve itself.
