Toby Gerhart rushed nine times for 32 yards and caught both of his targets for 31 yards in the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to Indianapolis.

Denard Robinson finished with eight carries, but got most of his playing time in late-game garbage time. Gerhart remains the Jaguars' lead back. Although fantasy owners have been frustrated by Gerhart's early-season production, understandably, his arrow is pointing up with Blake Bortles now quarterbacking Jacksonville's offense. View Gerhart as an RB3/flex in Week 4 at San Diego.

Chargers coach Mike McCoy said Danny Woodhead (ankle) would undergo further testing on Sunday night.

Woodhead was carted off the field after his first carry of the Chargers' Week 3 game. His ankle was caught up under a tackler's arm on the play, and he was quickly ruled out for the day. The Chargers have not given an official diagnosis, but the injury looked to be severe.

Allen Robinson reeled in 7-of-10 targets for 79 yards in the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to the Colts.

Robinson racked up catches in garbage time after drawing the start over Allen Hurns, who scored a 63-yard touchdown on his lone reception against the Colts. A 21-year-old athletic marvel with a 42-inch vertical, Robinson is more of a Dynasty league stash than re-draft starter. Still, he could become a WR3 option during bye-week crunches now that the Jags have installed Blake Bortles at quarterback. The Jaguars head to San Diego next.

Alfred Blue rushed for 78 yards on 13 carries in the Texans' 30-17, Week 3 loss to the Giants.

Blue got the start in place of Arian Foster, who was out with a hamstring injury. As our own Evan Silva put it, Blue looks like Adrian Peterson but runs like Shonn Greene. He did all of his damage on a couple opening-drive runs and a 46-yard scamper in the second half. Other than that, Blue was mostly bottled up. We didn't see anything that makes us want to go running to the waiver wire with a blank check. Tentatively expect Foster to be back next week vs. Buffalo.

Tony Romo completed 18-of-23 passes for 217 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the Cowboys' 34-31 win over the Rams.

Romo looked limited by his back injury for most of the game, but managed to find a wide-open Dez Bryant for a 68-yard touchdown. His second touchdown came on a crossing route to Terrance Williams from 12 yards out. Romo's interception was a pick-six to Rams CB Janoris Jenkins on a 3rd-and-8 play in the second quarter. His downfield velocity remains a concern going forward. Romo will be on the QB1 borderline against the Saints in Week 4.

Keenan Allen caught two passes for 17 yards against the Bills Week 3.

Allen was questionable for the game with a groin injury, but the injury did not factor into the disappointing stat line. Allen looked healthy, but was unable to get many looks in the Chargers' run-heavy game plan. Allen only has 111 yards on 12 catches this season.
Sep 21 - 4:27 PM

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley named Blake Bortles the team's starter for the rest of the season in his post-game press conference Sunday.

Although Bortles threw two interceptions in the second half of Sunday's loss to Indianapolis, including a pick six, he did lead two touchdown drives and breathed life into Jacksonville's previously inept offense. Bortles finished 14-of-24 passing for 223 yards, two scores, and the two picks after taking over to start the third quarter. He added 30 yards on two scrambles. The Jags head to San Diego next. If Bortles plays well, he could appear on the QB1 streamer radar as soon as Week 5, when Jacksonville faces the Steelers' swiss cheese defense. He's worth grabbing in all two-quarterback leagues.

Eddie Lacy was bottled up in the Packers' Week 3 loss to the Lions, rushing 11 times for only 36 yards, also losing a fumble.

He added one catch for nine yards. The fumble was Lacy's first since last Week 1. Lacy looked a bit lethargic today, but a good run defense — Lacy has faced three of the league's best in the season's first three weeks — can make that happen. Things finally open up in Week 4, where the Pack travel to Chicago to take on the Bears' bottom-three run unit. The Bears will be playing on a short week. Lacy should finally start earning his RB1 money. Frustration is understandable, but trading Lacy now would be the ultimate sell low. There should be much better days ahead.
