Mookie Betts (knee) is not in the Red Sox starting lineup on Saturday.

Angels recalled C Carlos Perez from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Perez was optioned to Triple-A earlier in the month when Geovany Soto returned from the disabled list, but is needed back due to the lack of catching depth. He was also stinging the ball at Triple-A, going 11-for-31 with five extra base hits since his demotion.
Diamondbacks placed INF Nick Ahmed on the 15-day disabled list with a right hip impingement.
Ahmed may have been expendable anyways with Chris Owings returning from the disabled list. He was hitting just .218/.265/.299 with a 58/15 K/BB ratio in 284 at-bats with the Diamondbacks before suffering the hip injury.
Diamondbacks activated INF/OF Chris Owings from the 15-day disabled list.
He's active and with the club for Saturday's game. Owings has been sidelined since June 11 due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He's expected to platoon in center field with Michael Bourn.
Athletics transferred LHP Fernando Rodriguez to the 60-day disabled list.
Nothing has changed in the progress of the injured left-hander, this was done merely as a procedural move to create a spot on the 40-man roster for Bruce Maxwell who joined the A's on Saturday.
Athletics placed C/1B Stephen Vogt on the family emergency medical leave list.
Vogt has a family matter that he needs to tend to for a couple of days, so the Athletics brought up Bruce Maxwell from Triple-A to help handle the load behind the plate.
Athletics purchased the contract of C Bruce Maxwell from Triple-A Nashville.
Maxwell joins the big league club as Stephen Vogt is placed on family emergency medical leave. He was pummeling the baseball at Triple-A, slashing .321/.393/.539 with 10 homers and 41 RBI in 60 games. He's in the lineup and making his first career start with the Athletics on Saturday.
