Rookie WR Bruce Ellington suffered a hamstring injury in the 49ers' Week 16 game against the Chargers.

Ellington appeared to pull a hamstring in the third quarter. He tried to re-enter, but was ruled out in the fourth. Ellington was in the middle of a breakout when he suffered the injury. He caught the first touchdown pass of his career in the second quarter and closed out the first half with a one-yard touchdown run. Ellington was clearly a focal point of the offense early in the game, seeing four targets and three carries in the first half. Ellington has had a quiet rookie campaign, but he has a real chance to establish himself as the 49ers' No. 3 receiver in 2015.

Julio Jones (questionable, hip) participated in the Falcons' Saturday walkthrough.

Beat writer Vaughn McClure takes this as a "positive sign" Julio will play Sunday at New Orleans. Although Jones' status won't be decided until just before game time, most signs point toward the Falcons counting on Julio to play. Sunday's Falcons-Saints game has a 1PM ET start, so we'll know his availability early. It's hard to imagine sitting Julio in fantasy leagues if he's active.

The Patriots have ruled out Julian Edelman (concussion) and LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) for Week 16 at the Jets.

Neither made the trip to New York. Edelman figures to be replaced by Danny Amendola, who could be a slightly intriguing "punt" play in DFS this week, although the majority of Tom Brady's targets figure to go to Rob Gronkowski, Brandon LaFell, and Shane Vereen. With Blount on the shelf, Jonas Gray will operate as New England's primary power runner between the tackles.

Chargers RG Johnnie Troutman exited Week 16 against the 49ers with a knee injury.

He is officially questionable to return. Jeremiah Sirles is in at right guard.
Dec 20 - 11:10 PM

Michael Crabtree played limited snaps Week 16 against the Chargers.

Crabtree came into the game questionable with a knee injury, but did not appear to aggravate the injury. Crabtree played sparingly in the first half and did not touch the field in the second half until the 49ers' final drive of the fourth quarter. He did not record a stat in regulation. After Crabtree was vocal about his perceived lack of involvement in the offense earlier in the season, it is certainly possible his absence was not injury related.
Dec 20 - 10:41 PM

Brandon Flowers briefly left Week 16 against the 49ers with a right ankle injury.

Flowers had his ankle stepped on by a teammate at the end of a second-quarter run. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but did not re-enter the game in the first half. He was able to return after the break.
Dec 20 - 10:08 PM

Chargers CB Shareece Wright exited Week 16 against the 49ers with a concussion.

Wright took a big hit to the side of his helmet trying to prevent Bruce Ellington from scoring late in the second quarter. Wright stayed down on the turf for several minutes before being escorted into the locker room. He was ruled out in the second half.
Dec 20 - 10:01 PM

Andre Roberts had one catch for 14 yards in Week 16 against the Eagles.

It was a rough night for Roberts, who also lost a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half. Roberts can continue to be avoided in fantasy leagues.
