Dwayne Washington (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 7.
Despite the Q tag, Washington is expected to play against the Redskins. Beat writers believe Washington will share the load with Zach Zenner.
Devontae Booker is expected to see more snaps in Week 7.
It falls in line with coach Gary Kubiak’s comments. With C.J. Anderson struggling, the Broncos plan to make changes to their run scheme. Booker (4.7 YPC) has been more effective than Anderson and could see closer to an even timeshare this week. Anderson will start against Houston, but doesn’t have much leash.
Dolphins DE Dion Jordan (knee, NFI) is hoping to return this season.
Jordan had a second knee surgery earlier this month, but it's not season ending. He'll still need to avoid setbacks to make it back this year. The Dolphins have a 21-day window to make a decision on Jordan's status.
The Indianapolis defense has just eight sacks through six weeks, good for 28th in the NFL.
The Colts are on pace for a mere 21 sacks this season, which would fall well below their underwhelming total of 35 from a year ago. Indianapolis' defense is a liability once again in 2016, a common theme for the Colts in recent years. The Indianapolis defense has allowed 40 or more points 12 times in the 78-game Grigson-Pagano era and has shown little reason to expect improvement. The Colts D/ST is not worth fantasy consideration in Week 7 against Tennessee.
The Jacksonville defense rushed five or more players on 18.9 percent of drop backs in Week 6, a number that has increased every week since Week 3.
Jacksonville will need to continue to create pressure this week against an Oakland team that has allowed just seven sacks in 2016, the best mark in the NFL. Jacksonville currently owns the eighth-best pass defense in the NFL, but the Jaguars D/ST has just one top-10 fantasy finish this season due to a lack of takeaways. The Jaguars D/ST is a middling fantasy option this week against Oakland.
Browns waived DT Gabe Wright.
Wright was added to the active roster in Week 2. He appeared in three games as a rotational lineman. With Joe Haden (groin) doubtful for Sunday, Cleveland promoted CB Darius Hillary from the practice squad.
Dolphins TE Dion Sims (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 7.
Sims didn't practice all week and remains in the concussion protocol. With Jordan Cameron also sidelined, Miami will go with a committee of MarQueis Gray and Dominique Jones against Buffalo.
Bucs WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is questionable for Week 7 against the 49ers.
Shorts is ready to return after missing the last month. He could have a role in three-wide sets with Vincent Jackson (knee) on IR.
