Angels manager Mike Scioscia indicated Sunday that Andrew Heaney will likely begin the season at Triple-A Salt Lake.

Scioscia said that the team won't need a fifth starter until April 14, and will "most likely" head north with just four starting pitchers. The 23-year-old could have solidified his rotation spot with a strong showing in the spring, but surrendered 19 runs in his 19 innings of work. Heaney could still get his opportunity when a fifth starter is needed, depending on the availability of Garrett Richards.

Cory Luebke (elbow) said that he felt great after Sunday's bullpen session.

"It felt like my old arm again" Luebke noted after the 30-pitch session. He'll repeat the same process again in 3-4 days and is still at least a month away from facing live hitters. The 30-year-old hurler is working his way back from a second Tommy John surgery and isn't expected to rejoin the Padres until midseason.

David Robertson (forearm) felt good after his scoreless inning of work in Sunday's Cactus League contest.

Robertson got three ground ball outs and allowed a double in his inning of work. After the White Sox closer indicated he was "feeling better than I did earlier in camp. Just needed some time to get the soreness out." It looks as though he should be ready to go for Opening Day and can safely be selected among the second tier of closers in fantasy drafts.

Rougned Odor was removed from Sunday's Cactus League game against the Dodgers with a bruised shin.

Odor appeared to get spiked as Adrian Gonzalez slid into second base on his fourth inning double. The Rangers have listed him as day-to-day, so the minor injury shouldn't impact his availability for the start of the regular season.

Twins sent RHP Stephen Pryor outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Pryor cleared waivers and elected to remain with the club where he'll serve as additional bullpen depth. The 25-year-old should receive an opportunity with the big league club at some point during the season.

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that the Blue Jays are not currently in discussions to acquire Jonathan Papelbon from the Phillies.

There have been rumblings in recent weeks that the Blue Jays had scouted and maintained interest in the veteran closer, but at this stage there don't appear to be talks between the two sides. As things currently stand, it looks as though Papelbon will begin the season as the Philies closer.

Deven Marrero delivered the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 10th as the Red Sox edged the Rays 3-2 on Sunday.

Marrero also drove in a run with a groundout his first time up. Known for his glove, Marrero, a 2012 first-round pick, is batting .308 in 26 at-bats. He'll be Triple-A Pawtucket's shortstop this year, and he'll probably be the choice to step in for the Red Sox if Xander Bogaerts gets hurt at any point.

Cardinals reassigned 1B Xavier Scruggs, INF Jacob Wilson and C Ed Easley to minor league camp.

With this round of cuts, the Cardinals have trimmed their big league camp to 33 players. Scruggs could have competed for a bench spot with a strong showing in the spring, but hit just .192 (5-for-26) in his limited time.
