Updating an earlier report, Jordan Matthews (ankle) was upgraded to full at Thursday's practice.
There's no longer any doubt about his Week 14 status, not that there ever was. Matthews will be a WR3 Sunday in his return from a one-week ankle injury.
Dorial Green-Beckham (oblique) remained sidelined Thursday.
DGB is looking unlikely to suit up against the Redskins, keeping Nelson Agholor in the mix opposite Jordan Matthews. DGB could be formally ruled out on Friday.
Michael Thomas (foot) remained sidelined Thursday.
The Saints are arguably the league's most opaque team when it comes to injuries, but missing back-to-back practices is always an ominous sign. Thomas needs to get in at least a limited session on Friday to have a realistic shot at suiting up. Thomas will remain in the low-end WR1 mix if he can give it a go against Tampa. His absence would make Brandin Cooks a no-brainer WR1.
Jordan Reed (shoulder) said he expects to play Week 14 against the Eagles.
We're not sure what to make of all this as ESPN's John Keim said Reed looked to be in "obvious pain" at Thursday's practice. Despite what Keim saw, Reed claims to have his full range of motion back and coach Jay Gruden said he "looked pretty good" on Thursday. This is shaping up as a classic game-time decision. Fortunately the Redskins play at 1 PM ET this week, so we'll know his status relatively early.
Dolphins MLB Kiko Alonso (thumb, hamstring) was noncommittal about his status for Week 14 against the Cardinals.
"I don't know yet," said Alonso, who said he felt "good" at Thursday's practice. Alonso had surgery to repair a broken thumb earlier this week but said he's more concerned about his hamstring. Mike Hull would fill in at middle linebacker if Alonso can't get the green light for Sunday.
Jets placed C Nick Mangold on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
It's just a formality as Mangold has already been ruled out for the rest of the season. Wesley Johnson will finish out the year at center for the Jets.
Julius Thomas (back) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.
Thomas hasn't played since Week 11. Barring some a miracle, he won't be active this week. Ben Koyack and Neal Sterling have been sharing tight end responsibilities during his absence.
Allen Hurns (hamstring) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.
Hurns hasn't played or practiced since injuring his hamstring in Week 12. All signs point to him missing another game. Even when healthy, Hurns has been a non-factor this year. His absence will open up more targets for Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee.
