Brandon Moss went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a walk in a win over the Reds on Friday.

Moss blasted a solo homer in the third inning and added a two-run double one inning later. The 31-year-old has three home runs and 13 RBI through 18 games this month, but he continues to have issues making contact. He's batting just .233 through 33 games this season while striking out 27 percent of the time.

Todd Frazier went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a run scored Friday against the Indians.

Frazier hasn't homered since May 13, but he's hitting .360 (9-for-25) over his last seven games. With a .258/.351/.556 batting line to go along with 12 home runs, 24 RBI, and six stolen bases, the 29-year-old has been a force at the third base position for fantasy owners.

Zack Cozart went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Friday's loss to the Indians.

Cozart has just four hits in 31 at-bats over his last nine games. His batting average has fallen from .320 to .278 during his recent slump. We weren't expecting his hot start to last anyway, but he's still capable of providing some pop from a MI (middle infielder) spot in fantasy leagues.

Jose Reyes went 1-for-3 and drew a pair of walks in his second minor league rehab game with Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.

Reyes served as the designated hitter on Friday after manning his position defensively on Thursday. He'll remain on his rehab assignment the remainder of the weekend before rejoining the Blue Jays on Monday.

Diamondbacks released OF Josh Elander.

Elander was the player the D'Backs acquired from the Braves in exchange for Trevor Cahill in early April. The 24-year-old slashed .244/.382/.289 with two RBI in 14 games at Class-A Kane County.

Mets manager Terry Collins confirmed after Friday's game that Noah Syndergaard isn't going anywhere and will remain in the Mets rotation.

The plan appears to be to move to a six-man rotation once Dillon Gee is activated from the disabled list, though eventually something will have to give. Syndergaard has been mighty impressive through his first three starts and should hold considerable fantasy value for the remainder of the season.
May 22 - 10:22 PM

Felix Hernandez notched his MLB-leading seventh victory after tossing of one-run ball in a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

The only run scored on a solo homer from Edwin Encarnacion in the first inning. Otherwise, he was dominant, allowing just four hits in all against two walks and eight strikeouts. King Felix improved to 7-1 with the victory and now owns a 2.19 ERA and 63/14 K/BB ratio in 61 1/3 innings over nine starts. He's been exactly what fantasy owners were hoping for when they paid a high price in drafts this spring.
May 22 - 10:17 PM

J.D. Martinez crushed a three-run homer in the third inning on Friday, leading the Tigers offensive attack in a 6-2 win over the Astros.

Martinez clobbered what looked to be a game-changing three-run homer to left field on the previous pitch, which hooked just foul at the last second. He then took the next Collin McHugh offering deep to right-center field to put the Tigers on top 3-2. He finished the night 2-for-3 and is now slashing .266/.337/.487 with nine homers and 21 RBI on the season.
