Seahawks coach Pete Carroll doesn't expect CB Shaq Griffin (concussion) to play in Week 12 against the 49ers.

Griffin hasn't been cleared to practice and will miss at least one week in the concussion protocol. It's another blow for a secondary already without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. The Seahawks will go with Byron Maxwell in Griffin's place.

Dan Bailey (groin) expects to play Week 12 against the Chargers.

"Hopefully I'll be back out there," he said. "I had a good week in practice last week, obviously kicked before the game Sunday just to get the work in, so I’m feeling pretty good." Bailey has been out since injuring his groin in Week 8. Mike Nugent has converted 7-of-9 field goals during his absence.

Drew Stanton (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Stanton is still working his way back from a Week 10 knee sprain. Even if he gets cleared for Sunday, Blaine Gabbert will start against Jacksonville.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said CB Darrelle Revis could play in Week 12.

Revis has been out of the league since last season, but has been staying in shape. It sounds like a stretch for him to play after signing this late in the week, though it's possible he could be available for limited snaps. The Chiefs view Revis as their starter opposite Marcus Peters.

Marshon Lattimore (ankle) was seen in a walking boot on Wednesday.

Lattimore suffered the injury in Week 11 and didn't practice on Wednesday. The Saints re-signed Sterling Moore earlier this week, suggesting that Lattimore won't be available Sunday in Los Angeles. The first-round rookie has been even better than advertised this year, earning PFF's No. 4 cornerback grade out of 119 qualifiers. Lattimore would be a big loss, though Kenny Vaccaro (groin) is expected to return this week following a two-game absence.

49ers claimed DE Cassius Marsh off waivers from the Patriots.

It took Marsh roughly 24 hours to resurface after being let go by New England on Tuesday. The Niners are his third teams in less than two months. Marsh holds PFF's worst grade among 4-3 defensive ends this season.

Chiefs signed CB Darrelle Revis to a two-year contract.

Revis had some in-season interest from the Chargers, but there hadn't been any updates on him since September. His signing is a splash move for a Chiefs secondary that's struggled opposite Marcus Peters. It's anyone guess how much Revis has left after missing the last three months and coming off a heavy decline in 2016. Revis played the first five years of his career with DC Bob Sutton, so he should be a strong scheme fit.

Cameron Brate (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

The injury shouldn't keep Brate from playing Sunday against the division-rival Falcons. Brate got off to a hot start this year but has averaged just 10.3 receiving yards over his last three games and hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. He's fallen off the TE1 radar.
