Dillon Gee spun six innings of one-run ball in a 10-2 victory in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the White Sox.

Gee was excellent, allowing just two hits while walking none and striking out four. He was perfect through four innings before Nicky Delmonico took him deep in the fifth. It was his longest appearance in the majors since last September 6. Gee is a couple of years removed from being even somewhat interesting from a fantasy perspective. He’ll have to keep it going to prove otherwise.

Carson Fulmer was hammered for six runs over 1 1/3 innings in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the Twins.

Not what Fulmer had in mind for his first major league start. All six runs scored in the second inning, including a three-run homer from Jorge Polanco and another three-run homer from Brian Dozier. With Lucas Giolito set to join the rotation, Fulmer figures to go right back down to the minors.

Byron Buxton stayed hot Monday against the White Sox by going 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored.

In doing so, Buxton extended his hitting streak to a career-best 12 games. He’s hit four homers (including one inside-the-parker) with 12 RBI and 12 runs scored during the streak. It’s time to forgive and forget in mixed fantasy leagues. Buxton is well worth a shot for the stretch run.

Alex Wood dealt with more inflammation in his SC joint during Monday's start versus the Pirates.

The joint runs between the manubrium of the sternum and the clavicle bone. Wood missed a couple weeks of action with the same issue in the first half and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts referred to the situation as "a little concerning." Wood's velocity has dropped steadily this season and was down again Monday and the SC joint problem might be at least partly to blame. It sounds like Wood will probably skip a start or two, but we'll know for sure later this week.

Brian Dozier went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the White Sox.

Dozier went 4-for-8 on the day. He has four homers over his last nine games and has been piling up walks in bunches recently. He now owns a healthy .264/.348/.487 batting line on the year.

Jorge Polanco slugged a three-run homer as the Twins split Monday’s doubleheader against the White Sox.

Polanco entered Monday’s action with three homers through his first 94 games this season, so of course he connected for three-run homers in both games of the doubleheader. The 24-year-old is now riding a modest six-game hitting streak. He’s batting .245/.294/.363 overall.

Nick Delmonico connected for a solo homer as the White Sox dropped the nightcap of Monday’s doubleheader against the Twins.

His fifth-inning solo shot was the only offense for the White Sox before Adam Engel hits solo homer of his own in the ninth. Delmonico has been a huge surprise for Chicago since his call-up, batting .343/.443/.642 with six homers and 12 RBI over 19 games. His numbers in the minors didn’t really stand out and he’s sporting a BABIP approaching .400, so we’re skeptical about jumping aboard, but the opportunities should continue to be there down the stretch.

Curtis Granderson hit a grand slam in the Dodgers' comeback win over the Pirates on Monday.

Granderson's four-run shot drove Pirates starter Gerrit Cole from the game in the top of the seventh inning. The new Los Angeles outfielder also singled and drew a walk in the 12-inning victory, finishing 2-for-5 with one run scored and four RBI. He's rattled off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored through his first three games with Los Angeles.
