Jonathan Grimes rushed for 45 yards on 11 carries in the Texans' Week 17 win over the Jaguars, adding two catches for 23 yards.

He saw more work than normal with Arian Foster leaving the game in the first quarter with a knee injury. Operating as the Texans' No. 3 back for most of the season, Grimes rushed for 153 yards on 39 carries. He caught six passes for 86 yards. Grimes is a talented 25-year-old who's under contract through next season at the minimum. He'll be back to compete for a backup job.

Charles Johnson secured 2-of-4 targets for 22 yards in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Bears.

He also lost 11 yards on a rushing attempt. It was a quiet end to an otherwise impressive season from the breakout second-year wideout. Johnson emerged as the Vikings' No. 1 receiver, tallying a 31-475-2 line despite starting only six games. Turning 26 in February, Johnson is a building block for Minnesota. He is sure to be the subject of plenty of offseason hype as a full-on 2015 fantasy breakout pick. Johnson's Dynasty owners should be smiling widely.

Robert Griffin III completed 27-of-41 passes for 336 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Washington's 44-17, Week 17 loss to the Cowboys.

Dec 28 - 4:52 PM

Greg Jennings secured 3-of-5 targets for 45 yards in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Bears.

The stat line was uninspiring, but Jennings contributed big catches as the Vikings' offense moved the ball with relative ease against the Bears' sieve-ish defense. He had an early touchdown overturned on replay. 31 years old, Jennings finishes his second season as a Viking with 59 catches for 742 yards and six touchdowns. At this stage of his career, Jennings is a lower-end No. 2 receiver but would be an excellent No. 3. His 2015 base salary is a whopping $8.9 million, however, none of which is guaranteed. It's fair to wonder if GM Rick Spielman will approach Jennings about an offseason pay cut. If Jennings returns to Minnesota, he'll probably be best viewed as a low-ceiling WR4.

Connor Shaw completed 14-of-28 passes for 177 yards Week 17 against the Ravens.

Shaw played well in stretches of this game, but looked overmatched and overwhelmed as he tried to bring the Browns back late in the fourth quarter. Shaw showed enough to earn a look as the Browns' backup quarterback in 2015, but he is clearly not the long-term answer for a team that is a quarterback away from being a playoff contender. With Brian Hoyer set to leave in free agency and Johnny Manziel unable to stay out of trouble off the field, there is a real chance the Browns' 2015 starting quarterback is not yet on the roster.

Dez Bryant caught 4-of-6 targets for 99 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' Week 17 win over the Redskins.

Bryant embarrassed saloon-door CB David Amerson on both his touchdowns. Dez shed an Amerson "tackle" on a 65-yard catch-and-run in the first quarter, and whipped him in the end zone for a 23-yard number four minutes later. Bryant finishes 2014 with 16 scores, a new Cowboys record. That's along with 88 catches for 1,320 yards. Bryant has an unbelievable 41 scores over the past three seasons.

Leon Washington rushed two times for two yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Colts.

In his first year as a Titan, Washington rushed 13 times for 57 yards and caught 22 passes for 159 yards with two touchdowns. He was also the team's primary kick returner. Washington, 32, would be lucky to find a similar depth/special teams role in free agency this year.
Dec 28 - 4:46 PM

Alfred Blue rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries in the Texans' Week 17 win over the Jaguars, adding six catches for 37 yards.

Arian Foster went down in the first quarter with knee and hamstring injuries and never returned, leaving Blue and Jonathan Grimes as the running backs. Blue, the 181st pick in May's draft, hd one big game as a rookie in Week 11 against the Browns, but generally struggled to 528 yards and two touchdowns on 169 carries (3.1 YPC). He's built like Zeus, but plays soft and doesn't have a ton of talent. Blue should have a spot on the 2015 roster behind Arian Foster, but sixth-round picks are rarely guaranteed to keep their jobs. He'll have to compete.
