Corey Kluber allowed four runs over six innings in a 7-4 win over the White Sox on Friday.

He struck out five and walked a pair. The four runs allowed were the most Kluber has given up in a start since June 4. Still, thanks to the support from his offense, he improved to 9-6 on the year. Coming off a strong 2013, Kluber has taken things to another level so far this season with a 3.01 ERA and 142/32 K/BB ratio over 131 2/3 innings of work.

Hector Noesi was hit hard for six runs in 4 2/3 innings in Friday's loss to the Indians.

Coming off his strongest outing with the White Sox, Noesi came crashing back down to Earth in this one. He gave up nine hits (including two home runs) and four walks while striking out four batters. The 27-year-old owns an ulgy 5.26 ERA over 87 1/3 innings of work this season and isn't a fantasy option.

Cody Allen struck out the side in the ninth inning Friday against the White Sox for his 11th save of the season.

A pretty good day for Cleveland, all in all. With the victory, the Indians are now back to an even .500 at 46-46 on the year. Allen is 11-for-12 in save chances this season and owns a dominant 2.21 ERA and 53/16 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings of work.

Nick Swisher went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Friday's win over the White Sox.

Look who is finally showing some signs of life. Swisher has hit safely in seven straight games and has three home runs over his last five. Even with the recent hot streak, the 33-year-old is batting just .207/.289/.351 through 74 games this season.

David Murphy launched a two-run home run Friday against the White Sox.

It was his first home run since way back on May 21. After joining the Indians on a two-year, $12 million contract over the winter, Murphy got off to a nice start with his new club, but he has seen his batting average drop over 50 points (from .284 to .243) over the past month.
Jul 11 - 10:36 PM

Adam Dunn swatted a solo home run in a loss to the Indians on Friday night.

Dunn now has two homers and two doubles over his last four games. The veteran slugger had just four extra-base hits (one home run and three doubles) over his previous 20 contests.
Jul 11 - 10:35 PM

Nick Hundley came through with an RBI single off Adam Warren in the 10th inning on Friday, leading the Orioles to a walk-off 3-2 victory.

The veteran backstop finished the night 2-for-4 with that critical RBI. With the two-hit effort, he's now hitting .264/.282/.384 with 13 RBI in 125 at-bats on the season. If he continues to swing the bat well, he could be in line for additional playing time behind the plate for the Orioles.
Jul 11 - 10:27 PM

Adam Jones continued his hot-hitting in Friday's win over the Yankees, going 2-for-4 with a run scored.

The All-Star outfielder is having another terrific season offensively, slashing .306/.329/.493 with 16 homers and 54 RBI. He has blossomed into one of the top all around players in the game today.
