Wes Johnson made a start on Friday with three points, two steals and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Suns.

Tyrone Wallace continues to outshine some of the veterans and coach Doc Rivers was OK going small against the Suns. Danilo Gallinari won't be out for long, so leave Wes on the wire.
Feb 24 - 12:36 AM

Devin Booker scored 27 points with one rebound, four assists and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Clippers during a 128-117 loss on Friday.

The Suns actually made a game out of this after they fell behind 19-0 to start. Going forward, Booker has said he doesn't want to rest and the Suns won't be strategically resting players like last year. Assuming they're both telling the truth, Booker could have a nice second half with a lot of 3-pointers because the Suns will be playing from behind most nights.

Manu Ginobili (chest) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. Cleveland.

Ginobili had three points, one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes vs. the Nuggets on Friday, but took a shot to the chest and needed X-rays after the game. He was in obvious pain during a post-game interview, but we should get an update on his status at Saturday's practice. Expect to see more of Patty Mills and Bryn Forbes if Ginobili can't go.
Feb 24 - 12:30 AM

Josh Jackson scored 19 points with seven rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Clippers on Friday.

He continues to post strong lines almost every night, so this isn't even really news. Jackson should be owned in all standard leagues and looks to be set up for a strong finish on one of the the worst teams in basketball.

According to NBA.com's David Aldridge, Jimmy Butler's camp has "some optimism" that he did not tear his ACL on Friday.

That's a good sign and there are tests doctors can do to see if the ACL was ruptured or not. That said, it's certainly not a guarantee that Butler is OK and there could be other damage to another ligament in his knee. He'll have an MRI on Saturday to confirm the damage. For now, grabbing Nemanja Bjelica in competitive leagues makes sense until we get word.
Feb 24 - 12:23 AM

C.J. McCollum was good for 26 points across 36 minutes in Friday's 100-81 road victory against the Jazz.

McCollum was a solid 11-of-21 from the field, including 4-of-7 from behind the 3-point line, and he chipped in with three rebounds, two assists and just one turnover. He was also one of four starters to turn in a plus-22 or better rating, going plus-25. McCollum has two or more triples in six of his past seven outings, and at least one trey in 12 consecutive contests dating back to Jan. 22.
Feb 24 - 12:23 AM

Jusuf Nurkic ended up with 16 points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots and two assists over 26 minutes in Friday's 100-81 win at Utah.

Nurkic did a good job bumping down low with Rudy Gobert, hitting 7-of-15 from the field while turning in a game-best plus-28 rating. He has managed four games with two or more blocked shots across the past seven contests. Nurk is averaging 16.0 PPG, 10.0 RPG and 1.5 BPG over his past two outings, each category slightly above his seasonal numbers.
Feb 24 - 12:20 AM

Clint Capela scored 25 points in Friday's 120-102 win over the Wolves, hitting 10-of-11 shots and 5-of-6 free throws.

The NBA's leader in field goal percentage had his way with Minnesota's frontcourt, a team that is usually strong against opposing centers -- the Wolves have allowed the second fewest fantasy points to centers so far this season. Capela also added 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal, making this is his fifth straight game with 11+ rebounds and his 10th straight game with at least one block. He's a frontrunner for the Most Improved Player Award and has crushed his ADP in fantasy leagues.
