Brewers prospect Tyler Wagner looked sharp Saturday for Double-A Biloxi, allowing four hits and one run over seven innings.

Wagner finished with a season-high seven strikeouts, though he failed to win for the first time this year. He's posted a 3.27 ground-out to fly-out rate while limiting opponents to a paltry .198 average in 115 plate appearances. Milwaukee's No. 11 prospect has gone at least five innings in each of his five starts this year.

Diamondbacks prospect Aaron Blair spun seven shutout innings Saturday for Double-A Mobile.

Blair threw six straight balls to start the game but settled down after that, allowing just two hits. The 22-year-old used Saturday's outing to lower his season ERA from 4.01 to 3.13. Nine of the 21 outs he recorded came on the ground. Mobile didn't win until the 11th, leaving Blair with the no-decision.

Steve Pearce had to leave Sunday's game against the Rays with a stomach illness.

He was hitless in two at-bats before exiting. Pearce should be fine following Monday's off day.

Zack Cozart exited Sunday's game versus the Braves with a finger injury.

Cozart was hurt while attempting to field a ground ball. Replays showed that he appeared to be bleeding and may have cracked a fingernail. The Reds should provide an update on his status shortly.

Austin Jackson left Sunday's game versus the Astros with a right ankle injury.

Jackson looked to have rolled the ankle when he stepped on Roberto Hernandez's foot at first base. He needed assistance as he limped off to the clubhouse. It certainly looked like an injury that could require a disabled list stint, but the Mariners should have more on his injury later Sunday.

Red Sox transferred C Ryan Hanigan from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Luis Jimenez. Hanigan is out through the All-Star break after having surgery on Saturday to repair a fractured hand.

Red Sox claimed INF Luis Jimenez off waivers from the Brewers.

Jimenez has hit just .218/.255/.269 over parts of three big league seasons, but he offers versatility and was a .299/.335/.509 hitter in the minors. He gives the Red Sox some infield depth.

Joel Peralta (neck) has yet to resume a throwing program.

Peralta hasn't made any progress after being diagnosed late last month with a strained neck. He'll remain shut down until he starts feeling better.
