Andre Williams rushed 11 times for 49 yards and a touchdown in Friday's regular-season dress rehearsal.
Theo Riddick had two carries for one yard in Friday night's preseason game against the Jaguars, adding two catches for six yards.
The box-score stats are misleading. Riddick saw time with the first team and played on Detroit's third series, ahead of Mikel Leshoure. He lined up as a receiver in four-wide sets and was featured in dual-back packages with Joique Bell. Riddick had a red-zone carry over Bell in the second quarter. OC Joe Lombardi appears to be employing a three-back committee similar to the Saints backfield. Reggie Bush and Bell owners can consider handcuffing with Riddick in the late rounds.
James Starks rushed seven times for nine yards and caught two passes for 32 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Raiders.
Adrien Robinson wasn't targeted in Friday's regular-season dress rehearsal against the Jets.
It means Robinson now has just three catches for 68 yards through four preseason games. He's squarely on the roster bubble.
Jimmy Garoppolo completed 9-of-12 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' third preseason game.
Garoppolo saw more playing time than Ryan Mallett, but was the third quarterback through the rotation Friday night. Garoppolo has been more poised in the pocket than he was in college throughout the entire preseason, and continued to look calm under pressure against the Panthers. Garoppolo has completed 24-of-37 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns this preseason.
Larry Donnell came off the bench behind Kellen Davis in Friday's preseason game, but spent time with the first-team offense.
Donnell had been "starting." The reality is, the Giants don't have a starter at tight end. Donnell has three catches for 26 yards through four preseason games. He's miles from fantasy relevance.
Toby Gerhart had 10 carries for 32 yards in the Jaguars' third preseason game Friday night.
Gerhart was held in check by the Lions' dominant run defense, and had a long run of seven yards. He was spelled on some third downs by Jordan Todman, but remains in line for an all-purpose role. Gerhart is limited as a runner and rarely gets more than what's blocked. He's averaging 3.18 YPC in two preseason starts. Gerhart's projected workload makes him an ideal RB2 target in the third round.
Kellen Davis was the starting tight end for the Giants' regular-season dress rehearsal against the Jets, but wasn't targeted in the passing game.
He split time with Larry Donnell, whom had been "starting." Davis has two catches for 12 yards through three preseason games. He's a blocker who won't be fantasy relevant in any format this season.
