Cordarrelle Patterson missed his lone target in the Vikings' third preseason game.

Yes, he's still in the NFL. Patterson added two kickoff returns for 43 yards. C-Pat won't be involved on offense beyond the occasional bubble screen.

Julius Thomas hauled in 1-of-2 targets for four yards Sunday night against the Bengals.

Thomas' quiet preseason continues, although he did finally record a catch to convert a third down on the first possession. He also had an end-zone target broken up in the second quarter. Thomas has not been heavily involved this preseason, but he still projects as a red-zone factor on what should be a high-scoring offense. He is worth a look as a back-end TE1.

Marqise Lee caught 1-of-2 targets for three yards Sunday night against the Bengals.

His one catch came on a screen in the second quarter, and he failed to convert on a back-corner fade at the goal line. More importantly, he saw plenty of snaps with the first team and appears to have won the No. 3 job. That role will not return much fantasy value while Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are healthy, but Lee could be a hot waiver add during the season.

Allen Hurns caught 2-of-4 targets for 25 yards Sunday night against the Bengals.

It was not a great night for the offense, but their one solid drive was sparked by a diving 3rd-and-long conversion by Hurns early in the second quarter. He added another seven-yard grab just before the half. Likely done for the preseason, Hurns finishes with 67 yards and a score on five catches. Set for some regression, there are better options in the sixth round.

Allen Robinson caught both of his targets for 10 yards Sunday night against the Bengals.

A struggling offense limited his opportunities, but he still made the most of them. He drew a long pass interference call down the left sideline to set up a field goal, and he made a great contested catch late in the second quarter. After he put on a show all preseason, there is no reason to worry about Robinson's WR1 status.

Chris Ivory rushed four times for four yards and recorded one catch for six yards in the Jaguars' third preseason game.

It was a quiet night for Ivory, but his role as the early-down and short-yardage complement to T.J. Yeldon is secure. Ivory was targeted on a screen and saw time in the two-minute drill, but he is unlikely to see much work in the passing game this season. Ivory is the better bet for touchdowns than Yeldon, but both are difficult to trust in fantasy operating in an almost even timeshare.

A.J. Green said he "banged knees" with Jaguars CB Davon House in Sunday night's preseason game.

"I'm fine now," he added. The injury originally looked like an ankle tweak, but it sounds like Green escaped with a knee bruise. The Bengals are counting on Green as much as ever this season after losing Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu to free agency, and Tyler Eifert (ankle) until Week 4 at the soonest.
Aug 28 - 10:01 PM

T.J. Yeldon rushed five times for 34 yards in the Jaguars' third preseason game Sunday night.

He "added" -2 yards on two receptions. One of those catches was a busted screen which resulted in a lost fumble. Despite the setback, Yeldon looked good Sunday, twice leaving Bengal defenders grasping at air in the open field. The second move resulted in a 23-yard gain in the second quarter. Yeldon also surprisingly saw snaps inside the 10-yard line, although Chris Ivory got the traditional goal-line look a couple plays later. Yeldon is a great talent, but he is unlikely to score many touchdowns behind Ivory. That makes him tough to use outside of PPR formats.
