Alexis Ajinca will shift back to a bench role vs. Houston on Thursday.
DeMarcus Cousins is starting alongside Anthony Davis tonight, and that's about all fantasy owners need to know here. Ajinca doesn't have value while those two studs are healthy.
Jrue Holiday, E'Twaun Moore, Solomon Hill, Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins will start against the Rockets on Thursday.
We get a look at the new duo against a three-point barrage of the Rockets. Cousins was on pace for the second highest usage rate since Kobe Bryant in 2005-06, but it'll certainly be dropping on his new team. Expect his numbers to see a dip now that he has some help. He's still an elite fantasy option.
E'Twaun Moore will start at SG for the Pelicans on Thursday.
Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans are all gone, so it makes sense that Moore is stepping into a much bigger role for New Orleans. He doesn't have a very high fantasy upside, but is still worth a very long look given how thin the Pelicans' backcourt is right now.
Cody Zeller (quad) is officially out for Thursday against the Pistons.
The Hornets will start Frank Kaminsky at center once again and he should see big minutes, assuming he avoids foul trouble. Zeller was playing really well before his injury, but the Hornets will likely take it easy on him after an aggravation earlier this month.
Aron Baynes (illness) will play vs. the Hornets on Thursday.
Baynes was sick during the break but he's well enough to suit up against Charlotte's depleted frontcourt tonight. Unfortunately for Baynes, he wasn't traded to a better situation and is still just a deep-league handcuff while Andre Drummond and Jon Leuer are healthy.
Ed Davis will come off the bench on Thursday against the Magic.
The Blazers went big with Davis starting next to Meyers Leonard in their last game against the Jazz, but that was obviously about the matchup. We'll see what happens today with Jusuf Nurkic starting for the first time. Davis may split the backup minutes with Leonard, which means both don't have much value.
Noah Vonleh will move into Portland's starting lineup on Thursday.
Meyers Leonard and Ed Davis are coming off the bench tonight, while Vonleh starts alongside Jusuf Nurkic, Moe Harkless, C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard. Vonleh hasn't been a reliable fantasy option even when starting, and that's unlikely to change even while Al-Farouq Aminu (knee) is out of commission.
Meyers Leonard will move to the bench on Thursday against the Magic.
He did not play well in his starts at center, averaging 6.0 points, 3.5 boards and 1.0 treys on 23.5 minutes per game. Leonard's playing time figures to drop into the teens tonight or maybe even lower than that.
