LeGarrette Blount rushed 12 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' Week 12 win over the Lions.

The Pats primarily attacked Detroit's defense in spread looks, but did mix in some power-running plays. Blount -- not "tardy" Jonas Gray -- got the first opportunities to establish a hot hand, and he ran with them. Blount capitalized on an early second-quarter 81-yard kickoff return by Danny Amendola by powering in for a three-yard touchdown to give New England a 14-6 lead. He later scored from one yard out in what amounted to garbage time in the 34-9 romp. Blount wound up playing 17 snaps to Gray's zero. Blount is suddenly on the RB2 map entering a Week 13 date with the Packers.

Andrew Luck completed 21-of-32 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions in the Colts' Week 12 win over the Jaguars.

The Colts got off to a horrible start, as Luck was strip-sacked on two of the first three possessions, losing both fumbles. He took five sacks in total. Luck's streak of eight consecutive games with 300 yards passing was also snapped Sunday. His lone touchdown pass went to T.Y. Hilton from 73 yards out. Luck later missed a 77-yard score to Reggie Wayne, who was wide open down the left sideline. Luck should get back to elite levels at home against the Redskins in Week 13.

Making his 2014 debut, Josh Gordon caught 8-of-16 targets for 120 yards in Cleveland's Week 12 win over the Falcons.

Despite much pre-game speculation to the contrary, Gordon wasn't on any sort of a pitch count, essentially playing every down. He was targeted on a whopping 40 percent of the Browns' pass plays. His 16 looks were twice as many as No. 2 Miles Austin's eight. It was music to fantasy owners' ears, but Brian Hoyer often appeared to be forcing the ball to his returning No. 1 weapon, making a number of disastrous decisions on plays where they perhaps were not on the same page. Hoyer also flat missed Gordon on at least 3-4 occasions. Gordon could have had a much-bigger game. Either way, he's established without a doubt that he'll be an elite WR1 down the stretch as the Browns try to clinch their first playoff berth since 2002.

Andy Dalton completed 24-of-35 passes for 233 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in the Bengals' Week 12 win over the Texans.

Managed and controlled by Cincinnati's high-volume run game (43 rushing attempts), Dalton continued to perform well in the caretaker role. His touchdown was good to Mohamed Sanu from six yards out in the first quarter. Dalton's big error was a third-quarter 60-yard pick six by Johnathan Joseph that briefly changed the tide of Sunday's game. It was Dalton's first turnover in a road game this season. The Bengals' offense rebounded and put the game away with their fourth-quarter rushing attack. A clear game manager this season, Dalton will be a two-quarterback-league option only in Week 13 against the Bucs.

Aaron Rodgers completed 19-of-29 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's Week 12 win over the Vikings.

He added a season-high 34 yards on four carries. Rodgers was mostly held in check by the Vikings, but still managed to come away with two touchdowns. He couldn't get anything going downfield with Jordy Nelson despite targeting him 12 times. Rodgers has a difficult matchup against the Patriots secondary in Week 13, but will be a top-five option for a potential shootout. He now has a 31:3 TD-to-INT ratio through 11 games.

A.J. Green caught 12 balls for 121 yards in the Bengals' Week 12 win over the Texans.

The Texans did Green a favor by keeping top CB Johnathan Joseph away from his side, and letting Green go to work on second-year UDFA A.J. Bouye. Bouye got such a good whipping that DC Romeo Crennel benched him for Darryl Morris early in the second half. AJG went on to whip Morris repeatedly for first-down catches. Green now has four career games of double-digit receptions, and his dozen on Sunday were a single-game career high. With stat lines of 6-127-1 and 12-121 over his last two games, Green will be a top-shelf fantasy WR1 when the Bengals take on the Buccaneers next.
Nov 23 - 4:18 PM

Blake Bortles completed 15-of-27 passes for 146 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception in the Jaguars' 23-3, Week 12 loss to the Colts.

He absorbed four sacks for a total loss of 32 yards. Coming off the bye, the Jaguars' offense was horrible, lacking zero creativity and taking no shots downfield. Bortles had a couple passes batted at the line and was picked off by Vontae Davis on his first throw of the game. The pass was well behind Marcedes Lewis. Bortles isn't even an option in two-quarterback leagues. Hopefully for the Jaguars' sake, he'll take a step or two forward over the final five games. The Giants are up next for the Jags.
Nov 23 - 4:17 PM

Brian Hoyer completed 23-of-40 passes for 322 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions in Cleveland's 26-24, Week 12 win over the Falcons.

Put simply, Hoyer was lucky to escape this one with a win. Hoyer niftily engineered the Browns' game-winning field goal drive, but may not have gotten the chance if not for disastrously-bad clock management from Atlanta's Mike Smith. With the game in fourth-quarter crunch time, Hoyer made two of the worst throws you'll ever see. His pick on 1st-and-goal with 4:59 remaining was arguably the worst decision by any quarterback in 2014. Rolling right on a busted play action, Hoyer back pedaled and threw a jump ball to Josh Gordon off his back foot. It was easily picked by Desmond Trufant. Hoyer made use of his returning star Gordon, but had multiple miscommunications with him, and at least 4-5 terrible targets. Hoyer won't be a recommended QB2 for next week's trip to Buffalo.
