49ers declared Carlos Hyde (foot) inactive for Week 12.
Hyde did not practice at all this week, and there is no timetable for his return. Shaun Draughn should continue to dominate backfield touches while Hyde is out. San Francisco also declared OLB Ahmad Brooks, LB Ray-Ray Armstrong, WR DeAndrew White, CB Chris Davis, OL Ian Silberman and OL Brandon Thomas inactive for Week 12 against the Cardinals.
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports Broncos OLB DeMarcus Ware will not play Week 13 against the Chargers.
According to Pro Football Talk, Ware's absence could extend past the Chargers' game. Ware's initial timetable after aggravating his back injury was 4-6 weeks, which could put him out until Week 16. With the Broncos' playoff future basically locked up, they will likely let Ware get back to 100 percent healthy before he returns.
Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson (ankle) is active for Week 12.
Arizona might not need him for what shapes up as a blowout, but Peterson is ready to go. No 49ers passing-game option is worth using in this matchup.
Michael Floyd (hamstring) is active for Week 12 against the 49ers.
Floyd was limited all week in practice, but coach Bruce Arians said he looked good. Competing with Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown for targets, Floyd is merely a low-floor WR3 in a game the Cardinals should dominate. Arizona declared DT Cory Redding, DT Frostee Rucker, DT Ed Stinson, OT D.J. Humphries, OG Jonathan Cooper, LB Shaq Riddick and QB Matt Barkley inactive for Week 12 against the 49ers.
Chris Thompson exited Week 12 against the Giants with a shoulder injury.
Thompson went to the locker room for evaluation before returning to the sidelines. With Thompson out, Matt Jones should see more work in passing situations.
Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie exited Week 12 against the Redskins with an ankle injury.
Rodgers-Cromartie's right leg gave way when he planted to change direction early in the second quarter. The Giants called it an ankle injury, but it looked like he may have hyperextended his knee. He returned to the game for a series, but left for the locker room late in the second quarter. Jayron Hosley was burned for a TD by DeSean Jackson filling in for DRC.
Giants RG Geoff Schwartz suffered a broken leg Week 12 against the Redskins.
Schwartz had his left leg rolled up from behind blocking in the first quarter. He is done for the day, and he has likely played his last snap this season. The Giants were already down Justin Pugh and Weston Richburg on the offensive line.
CB Chris Lewis-Harris left the Bengals' Week 12 game against the Rams with a rib injury and is doubtful to return.
He was carted off in the second quarter. Lewis-Harris is a backup cornerback who mostly plays special teams.
