Crawford went back-to-back with Brandon Belt in the second inning, then added a two-run homer in the fourth inning to send the Giants' lead to 6-0. They accounted for both of his hits in five at-bats. The shortstop has put up terrific numbers this season, batting .266/.328/.492 with 18 home runs and 67 RBI.

Adonis Garcia sent the Braves home happy with a walk-off two-run home run in the 12th inning against the Giants on Monday.

The Braves had fallen behind 8-7 in the top half of the frame, but Garcia played hero when he drilled a two-run shot to right-center against Ryan Vogelsong. Six of those nine hits are extra-base hits (three doubles, three homers).

Tom Koehler was lit up in 12-1 loss to the Mets on Monday, surrendering seven runs (six earned) in 4 1/3 innings.

Michael Conforto drilled a three-run home run in the second inning, then the Mets rallied for four runs with a single, a walk, and a pair of doubles, chasing Koehler from the game in the fifth. Overall, he gave up seven hits and a pair of walks while striking out six. The right-hander has a 3.71 ERA, a 1.23 WHIP, and an 88/42 K/BB ratio over 121 1/3 innings, which he'll bring into a start in Atlanta versus the Braves next.

Bartolo Colon evened out his record at 10-10 with a win after limiting the Marlins to a lone run in eight innings on Monday.

The right-hander relented the run in his final inning when Christian Yelich ripped an RBI double, cutting into the Mets' 12-0 lead. Colon scattered seven hits overall, walked none, and struck out five. He's been very inconsistent this season, particularly lately, and owns a mediocre 4.72 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP and a 98/14 K/BB ratio over 127 2/3 innings. After winning for the first time since June 12, Colon will look to make it two in a row in Tampa Bay against the Rays next.

Yoenis Cespedes plated four runs, doubling three times in five at-bats on Monday as the Mets routed the Nationals.

Cespedes had only one hit in eight plate appearances since joining the Mets, but broke out on Monday. He doubled in a pair of runs in the fifth inning and later scored, then added another two-run two-bagger in the sixth before coming home on a wild pitch. The Mets are now in first place ahead of the Nationals and Cespedes should provide plenty more offense for them down the stretch.
