Marvin Jones (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
We don't have many details on Jones' injury, but it doesn't appear to be a concern for his Week 15 status. Jones will be a touchdown-dependent WR4 against the Steelers.
Speaking Thursday, Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) said he would "need to take the majority of the reps" in Friday's practice to suit up against the Cowboys.
Rodgers also said he'd have to get back a positive scan to be cleared to play. The Packers are dragging out Rodgers' status longer than they have the past few weeks, but he still appears ultimately unlikely to give it a go. That is not to say there's a zero percent chance, however. We should get a final answer on Friday.
Emmanuel Sanders was added to the Steelers' injury report Thursday, getting in a limited session with a foot issue.
Sanders dealt with a minor foot injury last month. Although it's always noteworthy when a player is a mid-week addition to the injury report, the Steelers are likely just managing Sanders' reps. A WR4 for fantasy purposes, Sanders' status will be updated on Friday.
Antone Smith (knee) isn't practicing for Week 15.
The Falcons' No. 4 running back appears unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Redskins.
Tony Gonzalez (toe) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
Gonzalez may not get in another full practice for the rest of his career, but he'll be ready to roll as a TE1 against the Redskins on Sunday.
Roddy White (knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
White's "injury" isn't believed to be a major issue. Even if he gets a "questionable" tag on Friday's injury report, he should be ready to rock as a WR2 against the Redskins.
Bengals promoted CB Chris Lewis-Harris from the practice squad.
S Tony Dye was waived in a corresponding roster move. It confirms that Terence Newman (MCL) will be sidelined for Week 15.
John Carlson (concussion) remained out of Vikings practice Thursday.
Carlson appears unlikely to gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Eagles. We should get final word on Friday. Rhett Ellison and Chase Ford will split tight-end duties if Carlson sits.
