Alexei Ramirez left Saturday's game with back stiffness.

Ramirez tweaked his back in the bottom of the third inning while attempting to make a play on a groundball. The shortstop will likely sit out Sunday but should return to the White Sox starting lineup after the All-Star break.

Alexei Ramirez left Saturday's game versus the Indians due to an apparent injury.

Ramirez appeared to tweak something in his leg in the bottom of the third inning when he shifted from covering second base on a hit-and-run to trying to field a single to his right. He was 0-for-1 prior to leaving the game. Moises Sierra replaced him as a pinch-runner.

Rangers recalled LHP Ryan Feierabend from Triple-A Round Rock.

He's a candidate to start for the Rangers on Sunday in their first half finale against the Angels. It will mark the first time that he's been back in the major leagues since he was a member of the Mariners during the 2008 season.

Reds recalled 1B Neftali Soto from Triple-A Louisville.

The 25-year-old slugger has struggled during his brief time with the Reds this season, going 3-for-28 (.107) with seven strikeouts. He'll serve as an extra bench bat for a couple of days before likely returning to Triple-A.

Reds optioned RHP Curtis Partch to Triple-A Louisville.

The 27-year-old has tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings over his four appearances with the Reds this season. He's sure to return the next time that they require an additional bullpen arm.

Angels recalled OF Efren Navarro from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Navarro impressed during his brief audition with the Halos earlier in the season, slashing .297/.350/.432 with three RBI in his 37 at-bats. He isn't likely to see enough playing time to be worth the addition in AL-only leagues.
Jul 12 - 3:20 PM

Angels optioned RHP Drew Rucinski to Double-A Arkansas.

It was a very brief stay with the Angels for the 25-year-old hurler, who surrendered two runs on four hits in his lone inning of work. He'll continue to provide organizational bullpen depth.

Yenier Bello has resolved his visa issues and will report to Braves minor league camp.

The Cuban catcher was signed to a minor league contract over the spring, but struggled to get all of his paperwork in order to come stateside. He oozes offensive potential, hitting .274 with 13 homers in Cuba's La Serie Nacional back in 2011, but his path to the big leagues is very clogged in Atlanta.
