Cardinals WR Jaron Brown suffered an ACL tear Sunday night.
Brown had been playing a bigger role with Michael Floyd struggling and John Brown (hamstrings, sickle-cell) battling through injury. The Cardinals will now turn to J.J. Nelson, who turned seven targets into three catches for 84 yards Sunday night.
Tony Romo (back) is not practicing Monday.
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Romo has not been "fully cleared" for practice, and this missed session seems to confirm. Romo is not going to play this week, and he could be sidelined for several more. With Dak Prescott playing well, the Cowboys are going to give Romo all the time he needs.
The Dallas Morning News' Jon Machota reports Dez Bryant (knee) was "doing everything" during Monday's practice.
Reporters are only allowed to view part of practice, so it is certainly possible Bryant will be limited during team drills. Even so, he is clearly on track to return this week. Even in a tough matchup against the Eagles, he will be a borderline WR1.
C.J. Prosise played 16-of-63 (25%) snaps Week 7 against the Cardinals.
With C.J. Spiller a healthy scratch, Prosise worked as the clear No. 2 behind starter Christine Michael. That role still only netted him three touches, however. He does not need to be owned in any redraft formats.
DeVante Parker played 49-of-73 snaps (67%) Week 7 against the Bills.
Parker was on the field for 19 fewer plays than Kenny Stills, who also saw four more targets. It is the first time this season Parker has played fewer than 82 percent of the snaps, but he has seen four or fewer targets in three of the last four games. He has topped 30 yards once since Week 3. Even with the Jets on deck in Week 9, Parker is not a must-hold in shallow leagues through the bye week.
ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky reports CB Damarious Randall (groin) underwent surgery over the weekend.
The operation is not season ending, but Demovsky reports "he will miss a few more games." Randall was not able to play Thursday night because of the injury. With Sam Shields (concussion) on injured reserve and Quinten Rollins (groin) also banged up, the Packers remain extremely thin in the secondary.
Martellus Bennett played 30-of-57 snaps Week 7 against the Steelers.
In addition to playing his lowest snap percentage of the season, Bennett only ran 10 routes against the Steelers, catching one of his two targets for five yards. Bennett's snap percentage has now fallen in five straight games, and he has six catches for 53 yards in the last two weeks. He will be tough to trust in a difficult matchup with the Bills this week.
Browns C Cameron Erving exited Week 7 against the Bengals with an illness.
Erving sat out three games after suffering a bruised lung earlier this season, but he was able to return last week. It is not clear if this illness is related to that injury. Erving will undergo further testing Monday.
