Bears CB Kyle Fuller (hip, broken hand) is day to day.
His hand does not require surgery. Fuller's hip was the reason he departed Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. It sounds like Fuller will try to play with a club on his hand, though that would obviously destroy his ability to intercept the ball.
The Bills are holding off on placing C.J. Spiller (collarbone surgery) on injured reserve.
Spiller went under the knife on Monday. "We'll wait and see what the doctor says," coach Doug Marrone said of placing Spiller on I.R. Despite Marrone holding out hope, all signs suggest Spiller's season is over. It should become official within the week.
DeAngelo Williams (ankle) "might" practice on Wednesday.
Coach Ron Rivera made the disclosure at Monday's presser. Owners shouldn't hold their breath. D-Will won't be returning to any fantasy value, but the Panthers badly need him behind fellow injury-prone veteran Jonathan Stewart. Chris Ogbonnaya, Fozzy Whittaker and Darrin Reaves are not NFL-caliber rushers.
Panthers RG Trai Turner has been diagnosed with knee and ankle sprains, and been ruled out for Week 8.
Turner is week to week. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by undrafted rookie Andrew Norwell.
Panthers LT Byron Bell has been diagnosed with a "deep elbow contusion," but hasn't been ruled out for Week 8.
Coach Ron Rivera called Bell's injury news "good" after he was forced from Sunday's emphatic loss. It doesn't sound like he'll be forced to miss any time, but how his elbow heals up as the week progresses will be key. Bell is backed up by undrafted rookie David Foucault.
Falcons placed C Peter Konz on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
Veteran OT Jonathan Scott has been signed to take his roster spot. Konz was the Falcons' second-string center, as starter Joe Hawley was lost for the season in Week 4. The Falcons are now down to UDFA James Stone in the middle of their offensive line. A 2012 second-round bust, Konz will now head into the final year of his rookie contract coming off major injury. His 2015 roster spot will be far from assured.
Bucs FS Dashon Goldson (ankle) has resumed practicing.
Goldson has been sidelined since Week 4, but is on track to return for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Vincent Jackson (ribs) sat out Monday's practice.
It was just an informal session coming off the Bucs' bye week. Jackson is fully expected to suit up against the Vikings.
