Jaylen Brown scored eight points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

He did lose some minutes to Terry Rozier down the stretch and it's probably a fair bet to say Brown may have a tough time sustaining his 31.6 minutes per game. He should still be able to flirt with 30 minutes, but Brown can be considered as a drop in shallower leagues now that his ceiling and floor have lowered.
Feb 23 - 9:42 PM

Jayson Tatum scored 15 points with one rebound and two 3-pointers in just 21 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

Somewhat surprisingly, it was Tatum who took a hit with playing time with Marcus Smart coming back, but Tatum did close this game before it got to garbage time. He has cooled off a tad from his tremendous start, but he's still a must-start plaery in 12-team leagues.
Feb 23 - 9:40 PM

Greg Monroe scored eight points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 19 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

There are just too many options for Brad Stevens, so Monroe won't be able to overcome how he'll be used situationally. He should've been dropped when he agreed to sign with the Celtics.
Feb 23 - 9:38 PM

Daniel Theis scored a career-high 19 points against the Pistons on Friday, adding seven rebounds, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

He was awesome the first half, so coach Brad Stevens rolled the Theis out there to start the third because Aron Baynes got hurt. It's unknown if Aron Baynes' elbow injury is bad, but the team did originally say he was available to return before later ruling him out. He's not really an add unless we get more news on Baynes, and for now it sounds like Baynes' injury is more of a day-to-day issue.
Feb 23 - 9:37 PM

Marcus Smart made 5-of-9 from the field for 12 points with three rebounds, six assists and two 3-pointers against the Pistons on Friday.

It was one of his better games on offense and he brought it on defense as per usual. Maybe Smart's incident with a picture frame gave him a little extra edge, but it's not like effort was a problem with him anyway. He'll still likely be a guy that should be used on teams punting FG%, but the counting stats will be there with minutes closer to 30.
Feb 23 - 9:34 PM

Terry Rozier scored 11 points with five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

His minutes were going to take a hit here, but the Celtics second unit got hot early in the fourth to get this game to garbage time. If not for the blowout and also Aron Baynes getting hurt to make the Celtics smaller, Rozier likely would've been closer to 20 minutes. He's more of a low-upside hold in deeper leagues and it didn't help that Marcus Smart played well today.
Feb 23 - 9:31 PM

Andre Drummond scored 15 points with 17 rebounds and three blocks in 31 minutes during a 110-98 loss to the Celtics on Friday.

The Celtics did a fine job of neutralizing Drummond from getting the ball down low while they kept Blake away from the hoop, as well. Griffin finished with 17 points, four rebounds, one steal, six turnovers and two 3-pointers over his 35 minutes. The Pistons are now 2.0 games behind the Heat at the completion of their game, so they could be 2.5 back with a Miami win in New Orleans. They have some work to do.
Feb 23 - 9:29 PM

Jordan Clarkson (face) is probable to return on Friday vs. the Grizzlies.

He suffered a right eye laceration in the first half and needed stitches. He's listed as probable, but we'd be surprised if he didn't come back in.
