Colts owner Jim Irsay said Chuck Pagano will return in 2017.

It confirms previous reports. The Colts are keeping Pagano for another year after firing GM Ryan Grigson. Coming off consecutive eight-win seasons, Pagano needs to make the playoffs to avoid getting fired.

NFL suspended free agent OL J'Marcus Webb the first four games of 2017.

It's likely a violation of the NFL's drug policy. Webb has been out of the league since getting cut from Seattle in November. The suspension puts his chances of a return in doubt.

Packers placed OL J.C. Tretter (MCL) on injured reserve.

Tretter had knee surgery this week. He was already ruled out for the postseason. A free agent, 25-year-old Tretter will likely have to settle for one-year offers.

Packers signed WR Max McCaffrey from the practice squad.

It's a sign the Packers will be without one of their three injured receivers for the NFC Championship. Green Bay placed JC Tretter on IR in a corresponding move.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports coach Chuck Pagano's job is "believed to be safe."

Owner Jim Irsay made a run at Jon Gruden and has been looking at other coaches for weeks. The Colts fired GM Ryan Grigson but it sounds like Pagano will get another year. Pagano has been on the hot seat the last two seasons and is entering a make-or-break 2017. The Colts haven't made the playoffs since 2014.

Colts fired GM Ryan Grigson.

Grigson's status had been up in the air since the end of the season. The Colts are finally moving on after years of draft and free agency misses. Grigson's clashes with coach Chuck Pagano had also become a distraction over the last two-plus seasons. It's an overdue move for a Colts team that's missed the playoffs in consecutive years. President of Football Operations Jimmy Raye is a candidate to replace Grigson if Indy stays in-house. Owner Jim Irsay has been pushing Peyton Manning for a front office role.

Packers CB Quinten Rollins (neck, concussion) is questionable for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Rollins missed the last two weeks after going down in the season finale. He's been practicing on a limited basis but still needs to pass the final stage of the concussion protocol. Rollins isn't much of an upgrade to Green Bay's secondary. He'll get the majority of left corner snaps if cleared.
Jan 21 - 3:09 PM

Steelers OLB James Harrison (shoulder, triceps) is questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Harrison is fully expected to play despite some missed practice time this week. He's been a standout this postseason with 2.5 sacks. Harrison should see his regular snaps.
