Saturday's game between the Twins and Royals in Kansas City was postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on July 1. Expect that Saturday's scheduled starters, Jason Hammel and Phil Hughes, will be pushed back to start on Sunday.
Athletics sent RHP Raul Alcantara outright to Triple-A Nashville.
The right-hander cracked the A's Opening Day rotation but made just one start before he was demoted to the bullpen. He'll look to right the ship at Triple-A before hopefully rejoining the big league club later in the season.
Athletics activated INF Joey Wendle from the 10-day disabled list; Optioned him to Triple-A Nashville.
Wendle had been playing at Nashville anyways on a minor league rehab assignment, so he won't have to travel at all. He'll continue to function as organizational depth in the infield.
Nelson Cruz is expected to return to the Mariners' lineup on Saturday after sitting out due to a hamstring cramp on Friday.
The lineup hasn't been released yet, but Cruz told reporters that he's good to go. The 36-year-old is hitting .305/.400/.561 with five homers and 19 RBI through his first 23 games of the season.
The Mets are calling Yoenis Cespedes' hamstring injury "non-serious".
Rather than provide the actual grade of the strain like most clubs do, the Mets prefer to keep it vague. He's eligible to return from the disabled list on May 9.
Chris Tillman is scheduled to start for Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.
There had been speculation that he could forego his last rehab start and pitch for the Orioles on Tuesday, but he'll get one final tune-up in the minors first. Look for him to rejoin the O's rotation next weekend.
Zach Britton (forearm) is scheduled to make another minor league rehab appearance with Double-A Bowie on Sunday.
The O's had been hopeful that he could return to the big league bullpen on Sunday, but after struggling in Friday's rehab appearance they wanted to get him one more outing. If all goes well, he'll return to the O's on Tuesday.
Saturday afternoon's contest between the Cardinals and Reds has been postponed due to inclement weather.
No makeup date has been announced. It's currently hailing in St. Louis and harsh weather was expected throughout the afternoon, so they made a wise choice cancelling this one early. Look for Saturday's scheduled starters, Mike Leake and Bronson Arroyo, to be pushed back until Sunday.
